yesterday, I was surprised by a delivery of chocolate covered strawberries

My spouse surprises me with booby-traps in closets, dish strainer and other areas where she can innocently create a hazard that cascades down upon me.

FIL hosted a surprise b-day party for MIL one year

she was SO surprised walking into house full of guests!

once in a while, husband fills my car with gas but doesn't tell me...he must do it when I'm sleeping cause don't notice car is gone

our teen surprised us on Valentine's day!

she decorated, had entertainment for us...she performed dances to music (Happier & Flower dance), and then played music for us so we could slow dance

it was a fun evening

I surprise my wife all the time.

I come home from work, she is at the computer with her back turned and I say "Honey, I'm home!". Then I have to peel her off the ceiling.

Or she will be in the kitchen with her back turned and I ask "What ya cookin?" Again, have to peel her off the ceiling.

I have "tried" to surprise husband

such as in past, mowing front yard to help him
instead, he mowed over what I did even though I did a good job!

trying to cut tree down- until the saw got stuck, lol
