Do You See Numbers When Praying

This was an email between an old friend and I ,so I hope it is not too confusing at the beginning.

4/13/11-My friend and I had a powerful praise and prayer meeting on the phone the other night.We do that from time to time.

One thing she saw during prayer was a vision of a backwards 4. She said it was standing in someone 's yard .She didn't know whose yard it was in though.



As we prayed in the Spirit we commanded the backwards four to leave the premises in Jesus' Name. My friend saw it leave the yard. Walking! I shouted the The Blood of Jesus is against you.Leave in Jesus' Name.

Then we rebuked the enemy and commanded it never to return in Jesus' Name.



As we continued to pray I saw the backwards 4 standing at the end of my driveway! It fell flat on it's back as I called on the Name of the Lord to move it completely.! It was like it was slained in the spirit !

We Praised God for the Victory.There were other messages from this prayer meeting that I will be shared as led.

Odd vision to say the least.



So in an effort to understand what God may have been saying to us ,we covered the vision with prayer and asked God to reveal if it contained a message for us. We also asked for a confirmation from the scripture by faith.

I am quite sleepy,but the meaning of a backwards four just piqued my
curiosity.I researched and came up with all kinds of mathematical and
religious secret cult like symbiology for numerals .Nothing made sense to me.


Then the definition for the word reverse hit my Spirit as a possible meaning
for what reversed letters ,numbers ect.mean.
Especially if such a symbol was placed physically in one's yard.

Thank God for the Victory .If it is God's will He will share more of the
who,what ,where and how of this vision's meaning.

My Interpretation

I believe The Holy Spirit Message for us is written below.There maybe more of course.

San54- God will accomplish all his plans; no matter whether to save his people, or to destroy his foes.
That no one - man or devil - can hinder him. How can the feeble arm of a creature resist God?

They can not reverse anything that is in the will of God . Not the govt,false churches/religions ,personal circumstances and the like.

All of the above and more will fall FLAT on their backs before the POWER of OUR All ALMIGHTY God.
God has us in his hands,Nothing and no one can take us out of them.
Glory to God for that eternal security.:amen

In my teen years when I was lost I dabbled with astrology and runes and stuff like that. There is a symbol that looks like a backward 4

I am in no way telling you or suggesting that you look into this. I am not here to lead you into temptation. I'm just letting you know that what you saw that looked like a reverse 4 probably has nothing to do with the number 4 or the word reverse. It is an actual symbol in the realm of witchcraft.

Was the four a closed triangle at the top, or open?

Rune alphabets have angular shapes like that....some are just local alphabets, that were later used in more mysterious practices.

There's an open 4 Khon/kaun or eng and leaning Suhil -- backward means a "k." And one that means "tin"

There's a closed backward 4 that looks like the P in Christian PX --
"Wunjo...flag.. victorious battle. The joyous celebration of a triumphant victory." Lower the triangle, and it's "gateway." Backwards like a 4, there is a "q." There are many alphabets the shapes could relate to, if it's not the numeral 4.

Falling over might lead to a different symbol.

I wonder, from previous posts, if it related to hoodoo.

Heron and Jonahthesign thank you. My thoughts kept drifting in that direction also.
So I will pray some more until He give us a total revelation. I desire crystal clear understanding.
It is like a puzzle.Each little piece leads us closer the whole message God was so gracious to warn us of and then did the two of you see the word God sent as comfort to us all.
Heron you know I need that. Thanks for your prayers.
Oh and there were about 7 messages between the two of us that God sent us during prayer.

At this rate I'll have to rest between revelations.

What came to mind for you then as i read your post is God reveals messages to us in visions. go with it rather than a call it bad or ask it to go away. Enjoy the moments you have in your communicatins with God. People fill out minds with expectations of what should be. If you open your mind you just might see something fantastic.

I'm inclined to agree with Chris here. I have not physically seen numbers, but I have seen words. I don't think it would be inherently evil for a number to be seen. The number four can have to do with ruling or reigning. If I were to have had your experience, I would think that there is a ruling power whether earthly or demonic that will fall under the power of the Spirit.

You were deep in prayer when you saw that. I would assume it was God showing you something that would be useful to know. When I mentioned hoodoo, I did not mean the dream itself was occultic, but that the insight might have been about the particular shapes you saw.

For instance, if someone you knew who was involved in magic, was wishing a certain thing against you -- but in prayer, you knocked it down.

Some people here have done spiritual warfare in dreams, even when they did not completely understand what the danger was. Your inclination was to rebuke it, so you probably sensed something risky about it.

Yes, I understood what you meant Heron. I didn't think the visions were evil ,but that God was speaking to us through prayer for our own wellbeing.
I did feel led to rebuke the symbol ,and yes Talitha I agree with what you said. It fell before the Power of Jesus Christ My Lord and Savior. His power is the Greatest .
At the end of the maybe too long post is a scripture the Lord gave me concerning this vision.
There were about seven more messages ,which I will share as led. God is AWESOME!

Something I keep thinking of, which I'm sure isn't it-- when I was little, I thought of the number four as pleasant and friendly. Maybe it looked like a person, or seemed safe, I don't know what it was. Squared in fairness, or triangular in stability and equally three-sided? Just thought I'd mention it.
