  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Are energy drinks the beverage of choice on your campus? Facts show that most over the counter drinks are counter productive and use unhealthy if not toxic ingredients. Found a new healthy energy drink just launched on Sept.24th. backed by 350+ pro and Olympic athletes. Just wondering is there really an ENERGY Drink craze?

No not at all. My suitemate does drink them though. He says one little can of it costs somewhere near three dollars. The day I spend three dollars for 12 ounces of water and pure caffeine and sugar will never come.

Okay so this is going to sound bad...alcohol is really heavy on my campus. Day and night, people are always getting ticketed for open containers. But besides that, it's all coffee, either Dutch Bros or Allan Bros (gag.)
I love coffee and energy drinks.
I think Bawls is my favorites, followed by Rockstar and then Sobe Adrenaline.

I started out with Red Bull... and then moved onto Red Rain... and now my mom gets me cases of Red Rave at Costco, but we don't get there often because it's not local. I like Red Rave the best and I don't like the taste of Red Bull and Red Rain after having it.
I used to drink them A LOT but I don't very often anymore. It used to be one a day, every morning kind of thing. But getting them at Costco is definitely a lot cheaper.

Bawls?!?! Seriously?!?! I love it, and it's made in Canada you know! It was a big thing where I went to university last year, there was an Internet cafe there in the city and that's how I got introduced to Bawls (they had LAN parties)... It's an awesome drink! I haven't seen it at the gas station lately.

I'm more of a coffee person, but I've had some of the different energy drinks before. They don't really do much for me. My university provided Red Bulls for everyone at finals week, and mine is still sitting in my room unopened. I drink the Starbucks Double Shot Espressos, which some people consider energy drinks. I just consider them coffee. :)
