Judging especially one another's salvation or eternal destination, maybe even our own, cause there might be a certain kind of danger in that also, IDK...? But judging that and those kinds of things, gives rise to much evil, I think...

Except for the cases we have to judge, or in which we have to judge "here" "in this world", but not as to one is deserving of, say, Heaven or Hell, or being cursed by God or or eternal destination/salvation, all that, or something like that, ect, we should only judge in the cases in which we have to here, for here, and what one another might deserve here, if were a judge or have to judge, among the things "of here" (this world) (for this world) but not about the things pertaining to God, Salvation/Eternal destination, the afterlife, one another's Faith, ect, about anyone else, and maybe even including ourselves maybe, or the "other world"...

Not judging except when we have to judge, and that only with things pertaining to here, can, and I think is set up to "protect" us from a lot of evil...

God Bless!

It 'feels' as such but we all Do have a choice ( and sadly will not always Choose to follow His flow 100% always). Choice and Co-working are a beautiful gifts of God. If we have no choice we can receive no rewards/punishments. If we have no choice we can not be co-workers. If we have no choice we would never falter. And worst of all if we have no choice He is not the God He claims to be. He is though, and we do.
My fellow believer, I rejoice with you in how you feel. just remember that we are speaking in public and accountable for every word we express lead teach and use. Publicly I write these things not to cause you grief or say you are wrong, but to help those who read and seek to learn. Bless you also and thank you for your interactions.

It is true that there are matters we are not allowed to judge and that the matters we are commanded to judge are only those led by the Spirit in His presence. Our judgements are never to be our own but The Spirit's by the Spirit as we are led. These are God's judgements. We must be careful to Know the Voice and will and leading of the Lord in all things unless we mislead or cause another to stumble and fall into a measure of judgement ourselves. Good advice.

With his drawing me so strongly, how can I know if it's really me choosing Him or not...? Maybe that's what I'm fighting IDK...? I could lose myself maybe, and maybe I fear that, the kind of thoughts it gives me pertaining to losing yourself completely... Not knowing fully and completely what I would be surrendering myself to, that kind of thing...

Thank You Very Much!

God Bless!

My friend where there is fear it is only that Love is not yet perfected. Seek more learn more and believe what He tells you. The struggle comes in doubt, and we must all seek truth avidly , however, do not fall for lies from the devil who seeks to cause fear and doubt not from/but are enemies of God (fear/doubt). To question and seek or not know is okay; to live in fear & not believe God's word is a trick. We are told to test our faith always with many ways and to earnestly seek and do reverently and humbly with many tears, but the words in English that say to work out our salvation in fear and trembling are words meaning reverence and awe. Do not have guilt shame or condemnation if you believe He has taken those away from you and He calls them sin. Instead seek to get His word in your heart more and confess your unbelief so He may heal and renew you.

Ask yourself and be honest with God
-Do you believe you are His by believing His testimony and want Him to be your Lord?
-Do you believe then that by believing and confessing this from that belief that you are in Him?
-Do you believe there is therfore Now No condemnation for those who are in Jesus the Christ?

I probably need to explain that yes, we do have to do and make Judgments and/or/in general, like we can tell someone about how the Bible says "adulterers" ect, or "all" adulterers, ever, ect, don't get into Heaven, when we should "maybe most" or in the majority of cases "maybe", all adulterers, ect, don't get into Heaven, ect...

But/and also, we have to speak the truth in Love, and sometimes that includes some judgement or judgments, I mean we all have to make "judgement calls" on decisions we make every day, so I don't mean that... We have to Judge when we (should) Judge, but not when and where we don't have to judge, or it's just not necessary to judge (and/or be "judgmental"), and that takes (careful) discernment...

I guess I just get tired of all the unnecessary Judgement and judgments and judgmental/critical/criticizing/condemning people I see, and the more especially so, in Christian circles and from the pulpit sometimes when it comes to "what they think are salvation issues", when they might be, but in "some" cases, but they will act like it's "all" and tell you the Bible says so, and even use scripture to back it up, because sometimes that's what a line of scripture or a few lines of scripture will say, but there very much more to it than that, and sometimes that can be told by taking it in the context of and entire chapter or book, and maybe the whole book, or part of the overall story about the whole book taken as whole, anyway, that kind of judging, some of that stuff, or much, and if not all of that kind of stuff, should be only to God, and for God alone to know, decide and be able to tell and/or judge (with some of it or a lot of it)...

That's what bugs me...

But I will admit we also have to know when to judge, but for that, we must first know how to judge...?

I have a thread here about that if anyone wants to participate: What does it mean to judge with "righteous judgment"...?

Thanks and,

God Bless!

Very true. We must know the Judge and The One who Saves and allow Him to be Judge and Savior through us.

All the first 3, and also we can because of God's work on us, pruning, become less sinful over time, if we are sincerely confessing. Also we will bear fruit if we remain in Christ (John chapter 15). It's change over time, if we dwell in Him, look to Him, remember Him, pray as He said. If His words remain in us --

John 15 NIV (verses 1-17)

No, not at all. What you have to understand, and I'm surprised you haven't see it here before, not mater what you think or do, there are those that actually have said, we can do whatever we want, and yes, I mean anything, and even practice it regularly, and still be saved.

I am not wrong on that. As to the desperate attempt, and the black pot, that was using a lie in order to defend a false doctrine, and what I used is not a lie, again, I've seen it.

Jason I understand that you're not part of a church. Who do you confess to in order to be saved?

Continuing to call sin for what it is is not a condition for salvation but rather a characteristic of those who have been saved. 1John 1:9 doesn't speak of confessing as an event. It's not in the aorist tense but in the present tense speaking of a lifestyle. The major theme of 1John is identifying those who have been born of God and distinguishing them from false Christians as diagnosed from their lifestyle, that which they typically do. Those who have been born of God typically call sin for what it is. These are they who sins have been forgiven and who are being cleansed from all unrighteousness.

In contrast many a salvation by works Christian thinks that one loses salvation each time you sin and you gain it back by confessing sin - And thus a revolved door scenario for salvation.

Or Salvation by works versus salvation by faith apart from works.

Do you have an answer for that?
The only way you can know you are saved is when you get the witness in your spirit that you are genuinely converted to Christ. The Scripture says that our spirit witnesses with the Holy Spirit that we are the children of God. I believe that this comes when we have been transformed by the Holy Spirit. I don't believe it comes just when a person decides to accept Christ. It comes when Christ accepts him - and the evidence of that is a total transformation from sin to holiness, from Satan to Christ, and from the world to the kingdom of God, along with the inner witness of the Spirit witnessing with our spirit that we are now born again and are children of God.

Moses describes in this way the righteousness that is by the law: "The man who does these things will live by them." (Performance based Salvation) But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’" (that is, to bring Christ down) "or ‘Who will descend into the deep?’" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Salvation by faith apart from works)
