I am absolutely shocked at how few people prioritize the truth over their own opinions.
Just today, I had two people tell me, "I'm not interested in that," BECAUSE it goes against what they already believe. They did not check it out, they did not see what it said, and they said they did not want to even look at it because it disagreed with their previously held assumptions.
This baffles me. How can you consider yourself an honest person if you are not prioritizing the truth? I see this all the time. People hear a certain narrative, they are convinced of those narratives, and then there is literally nothing you can say to change their minds. This is confusing to me because most of my life, I have been trying to strive toward what is true. It started, strangely enough, when I was accused of lying by my father. I told him to check out what I was saying, and he didn't, and I was severely punished for it. Then he finds out some time later that I was telling the truth. He wants to apologize to me, but I was absolutely traumatized that my dad didn't listen to me when I was telling him the truth, and when I refused to hug him, I was punished again. Instead of teaching me to lie to get my way, for some strange reason, this had the opposite effect on me, and it made me a truth teller.
I shared this article with someone just to show that I am not a dispensationalist. They didn't care. Doesn't matter that they are saying I am something I am not. The truth is clearly not important to them

I shared the work of Dr. Roland Fryer, a Harvard African American truth teller to someone close to me stating that police are not more likely to shoot minorities, and the person said, "I am not going to waste my time on any commentary committed to denying the role white supremacy plays in policing."
I literally do not understand this. How can people say something and then not care if what they are saying is true or not? I saw another women yesterday post something saying basically, "I stand for this, but if you disagree, I don't want to hear from you." How does that even work? You want to be able to push your views on other people without examining if what you are saying is the right stance or something? I see it ALL. THE. TIME. Why don't people care about the Truth? It's the same thing I run into with atheist all the time. A perfect meme to show this is here:

I see this with Protestants and Catholics. Calvinists and Arminians. Anglicans and Wesleyans.
Why is it that so few people are actually pursuing the Truth?

Church History and Israel's Future
A belief in national Israel's future salvation actually goes all the way back to the early church. Here are just a few of the men who held this conviction.
