I went to see Good luck Chuck yesterday afternoon ..and its a horrible movie...!!! that should have a nc-17 rating...it was a porn!!!! and totally disgusting and distasteful!!!! i couldnt sit in the whole movie!!!!when all those sexual visuals started popping up my eyes felll to the floor and i walked out !!! and i complained to the manager and got my money back !!! do not support this movie!!! Take a stand for God and purity and do not see it..i believe most people will be sicken by this movie...God bless

The trailer alone should have told you the kind of film it was going to be. I mean c'mon. The enitre premise of the movie was if you sleep with the guy, you get married soon after.

Rated R for sequences of strong sexual content including crude dialogue, nudity, language and some drug use.

What do you expect? Don't you even read the rating? You knew what you were getting into, so why complain?

Lots of people here seem to be very sensitive about the content in the movies they watch, yet they always go into the R rated movies then complain about how "R" it was.

The quality of the films here don't matter, just how offensive and porn it is.

no i didnt not get any idea about that from the trailer...the trailer gave me the idea that chuck was a guy who had a very unlucky life and jessica alba his costar who really had life far off worse than him...and that them finding eachother made them appreciate who they are despite "their pitfalls " that i have seen on the tv for the movie, and while i knew it was rated R like i repeat that wasnt an acurate rating...i dont know why you are criticizing me when i am trying to make a point to other believers..so they wont make the same mistake that i did...just trying to help out...God bless

I can't believe people still complain about what they see in movies. Don't people check movie ratings before going to see something? Specially with the many christian based websites out there that will tell you what type of questionable material may be in a movie.

Of course they don't. If they did they couldn't get whiny and self righteous about it like the OP.

If you are so highly offended by nudity, then why are you going to see R rated movies in the first place?

Didn't we just cover this same issue in the last "DON'T SEE THIS!!!" thread? Seriously, some people are in such a dire need of a clue that it's ludicrous.

The movie is rated R! There is a reason the movie got an R rating! It doesn't take a genius to figure out that a movie rated R has adult content which usually is sexual content, nudity, and massive foul language, which they rarely give an R rating for language alone anymore.

Forealzchola, if you couldn't figure out what the movie was about by watching the trailer, then I'm sorry, but you are in no way mature enough to watch any movie that has an R rating. The trailers were very blatant and direct that the whole movie was very sexual. If you can't figure that out, then maybe you should stick to G and PG and movies where you know the content won't be adult oriented instead of walking into a movie which obviously has a LOT of adult content in it, only to come here whining about that people shouldn't seen it when your view based on ignorance.

Let me pose a question to you, have you ever seen an NC-17 rated film?

I haven't seen this (and probably won't even though Alba is cute) but I highly doubt it is deserving of an NC-17.

Unless this is like Crash which had several very graphic sexual sequences, an R rating is just fine.
