DNS servers just changed, database have some issues

Hi all

We've had to change our DNS nameservers and IP addresses to fix up an access problem - should take up to 24 hours to take effect.

Also, there is some database problem at the moment - hopefully should be fixed soon.

Database problem fixed, it was the user table, let's hope no accounts were affected.

We are watching the DNS issue closely as well.

Graphics were down a couple of hours ago. All the CF characters were naked, if they showed at all, other graphics as well.

I guess the DNS server change is the explanation for this.

There was a problem with the APC php cache as well that prevented people from posting or checking PMs, but that's been fixed.

ahhhh..ok..thats why i couldnt send pms on and off since yesterday i guess!

ERWIN..would you by any chance consider letting us see your posts instead of disabling find all posts. it would make it so much easier for us to check your latest announcements and such.

I have so many posts that it really bogs down the database if people try to do that. Hence why I have disabled mine.

i was not on when that happend but i have been having a couple of problems with sometimes getting on.Looks okay there now.

I have disabled that function also. I hope that helps you . I hope others do the same as many now have so many posts. That was good information to know and an easy way to help out. God Bless...

That seems like a progamming problem. If it only shows the last 200 posts, why would it take any longer for anyone with 200 posts or more. It should look for the latest first and stop at 200. If anything, it would take longer for someone whose last 200 posts were spreads over more time rather than less.

I disabled my "find all posts" as well. (been looking for an good reason to do so).
