Divorce final in 4 weeks

HI all , havent been on in a while.
My divorce will be final March 30th.
I started going to a divorce recovery class at a local church. Ive had 3 classes so far the last one was on anger . Whew!!! Boy that one is tough class. Im hoping to get out of this a closure to a 27yr marriage. Where all I ever did was forgive a man I loved for cheating on me several times and believing God would intervene and make us one . But God can only work with those who want to obey him and follow his commandments.
My job ( home daycare) has been under attack since noveember 2006) I have kept kids in my home for 17yrs and am now finding myself haveing to get registered it is a lot of class's to take and rules to go by not to mention the fact I cant keep as many as i have been because of limit standards.
I hope to know for sure if the cfps(childrens family protective service) will let me get registered and stay open in a few weeks. If not I will have to look for a new job . Im tired , no energy and stressed .
Please pray for my job I love what I do and the money is more than what I can make with only a high school diploma.
I'll be looking in more often , I need the fellowship I get from u all .

Hey Carol,
I'm praying for you at this difficult time. I know when it rains it pours but keep in mind that God has to break you down to build you back up the way He wants you to be. I pray that you will be able to keep caring for kids in your home and who knows, maybe by getting a licence the future may hold some big plans with child development for you! I pray that it all works out. I'm glad you are going to a divorce group at church and I hope you are finding lots of support there too. Stay strong and keep us posted on your situation!

Hi Carol, I'm sorry to hear that you are going through some trying times right now. Just remember, God lets certain things happen in our lives for a reason, even through we don't know what that reason is at the moment. He will take care of you and give you strength. That's so good that you're going to classes at your church, it will really help you. I've been doing the divorcecare guide on my own and it's been helping me alot. I also just read this book called Live, Laugh, Love Again, it was written by four christian woman who went through divorces, maybe you can check it out. I'll be praying for you that everything works out with your daycare and everything else.

GOOD NEWS!!!!!
I got my registration permit to continue caring for kids in my home. I am so thankful to God . My heart and soul are humbled that HE cares enough for me to give me the disire of my heart. I get inspected on the 26th to see that my house and yard are safe for kids.
I know I will pass it because I know God will help me get my house in order to pass it.
On another note , My divorce is only 22 days away and I find myself sometimes sinking thinking that it is really going to come to pass. I know its a good thing but at the same time it is bittersweet.
My divorce recovery class is helping me so much deal with all the emotions I would recommend it to everyone going thru a divorce.

The divorce care class that is offered in several churches is excellent. There are some that have divorce care for kids. It has been helpful to my 12 yr old son. take care James
