God is still on the throne! Don't stop at vs 5!

He allows rulers to rule, and he expects us to respect authorities within limits (Give to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's), but all in leadership positions will ultimately be accountable to him. Therefore, let them acknowledge his higher authority.

Moreover, he has given all authority in heaven and in earth to Jesus, the Christ, his son.

Now therefore, O kings, be wise;
be warned, O rulers of the earth.
Serve the Lord with fear,
with trembling; kiss his feet,
lest he be angry, and you perish in the way;
for his wrath is quickly kindled.
