I am interested in hearing your scriptural view on wives. I was recently challenged by the research of a Messianic friend and thought this would be a good opportunity to extend the discussion out to a larger community to get your views on the purpose of JHWH in marriage, particularly the definition and role of the "helper fit for man." I do not intend this thread to be a place to critique or criticize your view and would appreciate if any people posting would be respectful in responding to this OP and the subsequent posts. I am hopeful this will simply serve as a resource for me and for others in looking at what JHWH had in mind for us. Thanks in advance!
