Of late I have been noticing a pattern. It appears some seem to have the right words, or close to it, especially if they are using Scripture, but you can sense the heart is off.

I don't claim to be perfect in that department myself, but I know I need to step back when the carnal nature, including ego, rears its ugly head.

There seems to be quite a bit of accusations that I have seen lately, and I want to offer this:

The Lord knows where your heart is coming from. We often know too. If someone accused you of something, whether with scripture reference or not, the Lord and you know where you were coming from. Don't let others condemn you and make you feel bad about yourself, whether another, or me, whomever.

Although God can use various means to give us a Word, we all need to hear from Him foremost in our lives. So, don't let others condemn you.

There are so many voices coming at us. Get acquainted with the Lord's voice and also know thyself. Don't let false accusations and condemnation stick.

Don't let false accusations and condemnation stick.
"Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing." (1 Peter 3:8-9)

But I can be wrong. Even when someone criticizes me and does this in a bad way, it is possible that I am wrong, somehow. So, I find it is good to first answer to God, for Him to do what He knows is good to do with me. And not to only defend myself or feel ashamed and rejected.

And I am finding how God does not only criticize me about how I really am wrong; but He brings me out and has me caring in prayer for any other person.

And Christian people might not be hasty to get on my case, since they know that God knows how they really are doing :)

Where is our heart?

Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy,[c] your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eyes are unhealthy,[d] your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

Do Not Worry
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[e]?

28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
