What experience do you have with Discearnement during times of prayer ministry? How do you know if something that comes to mind is really from God and not from information that you have previously. I find this question a prbleme when I am praying with someone I know and if I know soemthing of their past history. Not a problem when I am praying with someone I don't know.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

is it good , holy , true , lovely , of good report ?
will it edify .... build up morally , spiritually , the person , you the believer
discernment , 1 Corinthians 12 , is seeing into , knowing of angels , devils , and the realm of God ....
knowing .... understanding are words of knowledge and wisdom ... know the news , and or the rest of the story ; the problem and the cause ...

i was in church one day and during praise and worship the woman next to me left and came back. we were still standing and praising God. i sensed that she had a spirit of infirmity on her when she returned. i knew in my spirit that if i prayed for her God would heal her. i was sorta embarassed but this was so strong. i could feel this spirit next to me. i asked her if she wanted me to pray for her to be healed and she said yes. i rebuked the spirit in Jesus name and the spirit left immedietly.Philled-one said:
