I've been reading a lot of arguments and how some people here say that there was death before the fall, Adam and Eve weren't real people, that dinosaurs lived before man, etc. The word "dinosaur" didn't come around till the year 1841 by Sir Richard Owen. The people back then called them dragons. If some of you say that dinosaurs died out before man was created, then how come we have all these tales about knights hunting and slaying dragons, etc.? I would refer you to Dr. Kent Hovind's DVD #3 for more information.

There are also many middle age tales of fairies, pixies, witches and ghosts. Are we to believe those too?

Besides, if I were the King of East Anglia circa 1360, and one of my knights had killed a dragon - I would have it's head on my castle wall for show. So how come we don't see any tophy dinosaur heads on castle walls?

There have been drawings of them. Have you seen the Inca Stones? They have drawings of dragons/dinosaurs on them. There was also a mummy found that the clothes she had on had designs of a dinosaur-like creature (long neck, long tail). There is a lot more I could tell you, but like I said, get Dr. Kent Hovind's Creation Seminar DVD #3. And by the way Late_Cretaceous, some guy did find and stuff a dinosaur looking creature. It is on display now in the Creation Evidences museum in Glen Rose, TX. The guy who found it was Pete Peterson from L&D Bait Shop 18508 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, OH 44107 216-226-3474. He sold it to Carl Baugh 254-897-3200. You can call them all up if you don't believe me.

Thanks for the info.

You would not by any chance have any links to these Inca drawings?

That would be these Ica stones? http://wiki.cotch.net/wiki.phtml?title=Ica_stones_show_humans_and_dinosaurs_coexisted

Going to Kent Hovind for information is like going to a brothel for virginity.

This would be the same Kent Hovind who says that a Hyracotherium:

is the same thing as a Hyrax:

The same Kent Hovind that can't tell one mammoth from another: http://members.cox.net/ardipithecus/evol/lies/lie001.html

Who makes up rubbish about Cytochrome:

http://members.cox.net/ardipithecus/evol/HovindLie.html

And who misquotes Eldredge for his own purposes:

http://members.cox.net/ardipithecus/evol/lies/lie026.html

I'd find another source. One who knows what "honest" means.

"The Holy Bible contains everything necessary for salvation as well as authoritative in matters of doctrine and faith" -Official understanding of the Bible by the Early Church

Hmmm...doesn't say anything about science.

And God is behind the laws of the universe...must have been how He Created life.

Seriously, if you gave out bibles to a tribe in Africa who have never read or heard of the bible and asked them to read Genesis, I guarantee you not one of them would say (if they could talk English) "Oh, this teaches we came around by slow processes over millions and millions of years!".

That's because they haven't been educated about the history of the Church.

The Early Church assembled the Bible. The Church, guided by the Holy Spirit, declared the Bible to be what it is; authoritative in matters of doctrine and faith and contains everything necessary for salvation.

The Early Church never took the Bible 100% literally.

I'll side with the Early Church, thanks. If I rejected it, Christianity would be null and void. No Early Church = no Christianity, unless you agree with the Mormons...

What I learned has no bearing. The Bible wasn't intended to be 100% literally taken; otherwise the Early Church and the Church Fathers would have done that or said that it should. In fact, they often taken it non-literally, knowing full well the linguistics behind the words.

The Bible is a book of theology, not a science textbook. Unless you want to believe that bats are birds and rabbits chew their cud, there's no other way around it. The authors had no clue of the modern knowledge that we knew.

In fact, the ancient Hebrew cosmological view was of a flat Earth with sheol literally within the Earth and heaven beyond the stars, with the sun, moon, and planets going around a circular (and circular is 2D, not 3D) Earth, with its sky supported by massive pillars similar to those in Tolkien's world of Middle-earth before the Age of the Lamps fell. A literal reading of the Bible would support this view. Today, we know this view is silly at best.

So do you believe in a flat earth?

The thing about the flat earth because the bible says that every eye will see Him at the Second Coming, but Christ's coming would seem to envelop the entire earth. Have you ever heard of superstrings and how Jesus could appear to people in their homes after He rose from the dead without passing through any of the walls? Pretty weird. Now the thing about rabbits chewing their cud...the rabbit does re-eat partially digested fecal pellets that come from a special pouch called the caecum. Bacteria in these pellets enrich the diet and provide nutrients to aid digestion...according to Encyclopedia Britannica.
