Curious to get some other thoughts on this topic.
The Bible says we were separated by different languages to make sure we are not able to communicate clearly to avoid “loosing focus”. Modern technology and advancement in technology has made it a lot easier to communicate clearly.. A LOT of things now a days are digitalized and online accounts. AI technology has advanced and is always changing and improving.
So here’s the question, how much technology is “ok” vs getting tied up in a web to our demise?
Secondary question. A few years ago I got a medical injury and had to go to the hospital for a few months. During that time they were transitioning from paper records to digital accounts for citizens. Just saw today that supposedly you can make an account for our healthcare that keeps track of your medical records online.. Part of me wants to support this program because it could help connect doctors and medical history between different doctors. Part of me thinks this is just further progression to the “end times”.
How would you go about processing this? Appreciate your thoughts.

The main issue at Babel was how all mankind was going to stay there and go nowhere else . . . after God had told them to replenish the earth and not to stay in one place.

Now technology is used even to help to replenish the earth. And keeping you alive should be a good thing.

How much is subjective. Technology has a place but you need to be mindful as well. Whatever you share remains with them. And you don't know who's viewing the data. You have to trust they're honest.

I made a conscious decision to restrict technology's presence in my life. I use a physical planner and maintain personal details offline. I use email for professional matters and conduct private discourse elsewhere. I have a smartphone and a tablet but I don't use fitness trackers or gadgets in the home. I have smart televisions and chose models without a camera or microphone.

I keep the camera covered on my devices and don't use siri, alexa, etc. I plan to store them out of my bedroom when we move and put them in a faraday box. There's other things I need to explore to increase my privacy. And I'm deeply invested in connections beyond this realm. I use the internet as a tool but real life is more important.
