Hi,

I have a couple of questions regarding evoluion, Thanks if you can take the time to answer.

What are the main differences between humans today and our closest living relative.

And what are the selection pressures that would have led to these changes over the years.

Thanks in advance..

ps. This isnt a bait attempt like I see here all the time by creationists I'm just curious.

Humans are apes.

Apes (Hominoidea) are a subset of Old World monkeys. Hominidae is a subset of apes, the large, or "great" apes. Hominids include chimpanzees, gorillas, and orangutans, as well as numerous fossil species including hominines, the bi-pedal apes, a subset of apes which includes Australopithecines, Paranthropines, and Homoines, (humans).

Asking the difference between humans and apes is like asking the difference between humans and mammals. We are both for the same reason.
