If God leads them to pcusa, then that's tells us something went wrong in the PCA.
It is also possible that God did not lead them to the PCUSA, their unrepentant error did...which merely means that such persons found a large crowd of people to validate their error. It doesn't suddenly make error into truth.

I agree. People find their way in to churches without knowing the politics of the denomination becuase it is close to theirs house or their friends go there. Then they make friends, get responsibilities, etc in that church and hate to leave even when they discover that it is a Marxist pit of vipers at the levels above the local church. Then they have a hard time leaving and just decide to ignore the politics of the conference, general assembly, etc. but eventually, those politics filter down to the local church and then they are forced to see reality.

Some passed the test of the spirit

No one can say who passed the test of the spirit. The only test that proves anything is the fruits of the spirit. People who believe that killing an unborn child for convenience have failed every possible test.

Making up stuff to "throw against the wall" to see what sticks are we?

The Spirit leads one into TRUTH. Where one is lead into error, he or she is not lead by the Spirit.

So you are right back at your starting point of begging the question of the TRUTH of the matter.

Nice try though.

They never understood today's medical science 2000 years ago.

They never understood women's education 2000 years ago.

Welcome to today where we all learn to live together.

Telling women men are better than them is a thing of the past.

Fundies are Muslims.

Live today like you mean it.

Martin Luther king had a dream.

That dream lived.

Slavery is a thing of the past.

We no longer treat women around like worthless rag dolls .

Conservatives must upgrade to today.

We never really did treat women in such a fashion. Christianity liberated women.

Again, nice sentiments, but not really very useful at arriving at truth. And Martin Luther King was and is not an infallible authority.

It comes down to this: Does God Change? i can't speak for you, but i want nothing to do with a 'god' who changes his or her mind at any whim.

Slavery and mistreatment of women are not a thing of the past. Just look outside the USA.

And the conservatives would love to move outside usa
As opposed to the Liberals who want to turn the USA into one of those places where women are property to be disposed of at the whim of the owner.

This is a fun game, both sides can play it. However, it has nothing to do with what is true.

God's revelation through scripture does not require that you like it. It merely informs you of what is to be. Your approval or disapproval has nothing to do with the matter.

While we're on this point, i really wish you would stop 'dumping' your own prejudices on these topics. The original issue was differences between the EPC and the PCA, and you chose to dump a bunch of garbage on the positions that the PCA has taken after careful consideration of God's revelation.

We get it --you don't like what God has revealed, and think that modern society knows better. Now move on.

What does that even mean? Are you saying that conservatives would bring back slavery? Was Bill Clinton a conservative when he travelled outside the US to visit Jeffrey Epstein's "Orgy Island" where there is real slavery?

Calvinist or not, the bible stands.
Yes, it does, and i'm happy that you think so.

However what concerns a great many of us is that you don't appeal to the bible for your arguments.

So far all i've seen on this thread from you are Ad hominem attacks on those who believe the bible to be God's revelation, and appeals to 21st Century 'scholarship' as superseding that revelation.

Need to make up your mind about what you believe.
