Trump stated that the US were the only country with a law granting citizenship to every baby born in the country.
Well, when I heard that news I instantly recollected that pair of missionaries, who went to South America, but could not enter Brazil, the country where God had called them to serve him.
Then, in a flight from Argentina (?) to Europe, the woman suddenly got her baby in the aircraft. They were informed that the baby was born when while the aircraft was in Brazilian air space, and hence they had the opportunity to chose Brazil citizenship for their baby (they didn't know it in advance, they had not expected the pregnancy would end that day). So now they had the right to enter Brazil.
While I still remembered that case, I heard the news speaker that there are about 30 countries in the world with such a law, including Canada.
And now I wonder whether Trump is so dump not to know this, or whether he lied on purpose.
