First of all, Daniel - welcome.

I'm so sorry to read about how upset you've been. In my belief - the fact that you are grieved is exactly what means that you did NOT blaspheme the Holy Spirit. I hope and pray that you can come to know God as a loving God - maybe this video will help?

....and maybe this response to your question will help?

Just remember brother, if you really hard committed that sin then you wouldn't care if you did or not. The fact that you don't want the thoughts and that they bother you prove that your heart is with God. God loves you so much and Jesus is with you. God bless you and Jesus is Lord.

Here's something from the folks at GotQuestions.org

Question: "What is the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit?"

Answer:
The concept of “blasphemy against the Spirit” is mentioned in Mark 3:22–30 and Matthew 12:22–32. Jesus has just performed a miracle. A demon-possessed man was brought to Jesus, and the Lord cast the demon out, healing the man of blindness and muteness. The eyewitnesses to this exorcism began to wonder if Jesus was indeed the Messiah they had been waiting for. A group of Pharisees, hearing the talk of the Messiah, quickly quashed any budding faith in the crowd: “It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this fellow drives out demons,” they said (Matthew 12:24).

Jesus rebuts the Pharisees with some logical arguments for why He is not casting out demons in the power of Satan (Matthew 12:25–29). Then He speaks of the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit: “I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come” (verses 31–32).

The term blasphemy may be generally defined as “defiant irreverence.” The term can be applied to such sins as cursing God or willfully degrading things relating to God. Blasphemy is also attributing some evil to God or denying Him some good that we should attribute to Him. This particular case of blasphemy, however, is called “the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit” in Matthew 12:31. The Pharisees, having witnessed irrefutable proof that Jesus was working miracles in the power of the Holy Spirit, claimed instead that the Lord was possessed by a demon (Matthew 12:24). Notice in Mark 3:30 Jesus is very specific about what the Pharisees did to commit blasphemy against the Holy Spirit: “He said this because they were saying, ‘He has an impure spirit.’”

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit has to do with accusing Jesus Christ of being demon-possessed instead of Spirit-filled. This particular type of blasphemy cannot be duplicated today. The Pharisees were in a unique moment in history: they had the Law and the Prophets, they had the Holy Spirit stirring their hearts, they had the Son of God Himself standing right in front of them, and they saw with their own eyes the miracles He did. Never before in the history of the world (and never since) had so much divine light been granted to men; if anyone should have recognized Jesus for who He was, it was the Pharisees. Yet they chose defiance. They purposely attributed the work of the Spirit to the devil, even though they knew the truth and had the proof. Jesus declared their willful blindness to be unpardonable. Their blasphemy against the Holy Spirit was their final rejection of God’s grace. They had set their course, and God was going to let them sail into perdition unhindered.

Jesus told the crowd that the Pharisees’ blasphemy against the Holy Spirit “will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come” (Matthew 12:32). This is another way of saying that their sin would never be forgiven, ever. Not now, not in eternity. As Mark 3:29 puts it, “They are guilty of an eternal sin.”

The immediate result of the Pharisees’ public rejection of Christ (and God’s rejection of them) is seen in the next chapter. Jesus, for the first time, “told them many things in parables” (Matthew 13:3; cf. Mark 4:2). The disciples were puzzled at Jesus’ change of teaching method, and Jesus explained His use of parables: “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. . . . Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand” (Matthew 13:11, 13). Jesus began to veil the truth with parables and metaphors as a direct result of the Jewish leaders’ official denunciation of Him.

Again, the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit cannot be repeated today, although some people try. Jesus Christ is not on earth—He is seated at the right hand of God. No one can personally witness Jesus performing a miracle and then attribute that power to Satan instead of the Spirit.

The unpardonable sin today is the state of continued unbelief. The Spirit currently convicts the unsaved world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). To resist that conviction and willfully remain unrepentant is to “blaspheme” the Spirit. There is no pardon, either in this age or in the age to come, for a person who rejects the Spirit’s promptings to trust in Jesus Christ and then dies in unbelief. The love of God is evident: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). And the choice is clear: “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him” (John 3:36).

the fact that you think you have means you haven't. those who blasphemy the holy spirit reject Christ completely because the holy spirit is the one who calls you to the Lord. so blaspheming the holy spirit is rejecting his call to come to the Lord (salvation by faith). the fact that you have these thoughts proves God is working in your life. your just fine. you being grieved proves this is not the case and you have not blasphemed the holy spirit. the devil is messing with you plain and simple. remind him (devil) you are the righteousness of Christ, who says so, Christ says so. he will beat you up over this as long as you believe his lie. the lord will never leave you nor forsake you. there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. does not mean we can't feel condemnation but if we do it is because we are not focusing on what God said what did he say? you are righteous not because of you but because of him. your just fine take authority over the devil in the name of Jesus there is power in his name use it. father we come to you in the name of your son Jesus and i take authority over these lying spirits speaking to my brother and whispering lies into his ears. i bind you demon and command you to leave and to be held where the the lord places you and not to return to my brother. father i speak your grace and love over my brother that that grace would wash over him and flood into his life. that father your great love would flow over him as he reads this touch him father for that is your great desire to love your children. father God make your perfect truth known to my brother and bless him greatly. God loves you man know that take authority over the devil that power belongs to his children.

Hi Daniel, here's another excellent article from a small portion of one of Dr. Sproul's theology books that should prove to be helpful to you as well.

THE UNFORGIVABLE SIN

That the Bible describes one sin as “unforgiveable” sparks fear in the hearts of those who worry that perhaps they have committed it. Although the gospel freely offers forgiveness to all who repent of their sins, there is a limit reached at the door of this one crime. The unforgiveable or unpardonable sin of which Jesus warned is identified as blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Jesus declared that this sin cannot be forgiven either in the present or in the future:

Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come. (Matthew 12:31-32)

Various attempts have been made to identify the specific crime that is unforgiveable. It has been assigned to such grievous crimes as murder or adultery. However, though both of these sins are clearly heinous sins against God, the Scripture makes it clear that they may be forgiven if earnest repentance is made. David, for example, was guilty of both of them, yet he was restored to grace.
Frequently the unforgiveable sin is identified with persistent and final unbelief in Christ. Since death brings the end of a person’s opportunity to repent of sin and embrace Christ, the finality of unbelief brings the consequence of the termination of hope of forgiveness.

Though persistent and final unbelief does bring about such consequences it does not adequately explain Jesus’ warning concerning blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Blasphemy is something one does with the mouth or the pen. It involves words.

Though any form of blasphemy is a serious assault on the character of God, it is usually regarded as forgiveable. When Jesus warned of the unforgiveable sin, it was in the context of His accusers declaring that He was in league with Satan. His warning was sober and frightening. Yet, on the cross Jesus prayed for the forgiveness of those who blasphemed against Him on the grounds of their ignorance, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do” (Luke 23:34).

If, however, people are enlightened by the Holy Spirit to the degree that they know Jesus is truly the Christ, and then they accuse Him of being satanic, they have committed a sin for which there is no pardon. Christians left to their own devices are capable of committing the unpardonable sin, but we are confident that God in His preserving grace will restrain His elect from ever committing such a sin. When earnest Christians are fearful that perhaps they have actually committed this sin, it is probably an indication that they haven’t. Those who do commit such a sin would be so hardened of heart and abandoned in their sin as to feel no remorse for it.

Even in a pagan, secularized culture like our own, people seem to be reluctant to go too far in their blasphemy against God and Christ. Though the name of Christ is dragged through the mud as a common curse word and the gospel is ridiculed by irreverent jokes and comments, people still seem constrained to avoid linking Jesus with Satan.

Though the occult and Satanism provide a context of perilous danger for the commission of the unpardonable sin, if radical blasphemy occurs here it may still be forgiven because it is committed in ignorance by those unenlightened by the Holy Spirit.

Summary
1. Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is not to be equated with murder or adultery.
2. Blasphemy is an offense against God involving words.
3. Christ’s original warning was against attributing the works of God the Holy Spirit to Satan.
4. Jesus prayed for the forgiveness of blasphemers who were ignorant of His true identity.
5. Christians will never commit this sin because of the restraining grace of God.

It's OK to "have words" with them, and you can do this without blaspheming any of them, you just have to be careful, remember to always be respectful, who you are talking to, ect, your own place, ect, among them, ect...

It is really the beginnings of communication and "real relationship" with them...

God Bless!

Where do you think those thoughts have come from? From your mind or into your mind?
If those thoughts came from your heart, then you would not feel condemned and terrified. It seems to me that the thoughts are unwelcome intrusions into your mind from an outside source, and not from your inner heart self.

This leads me to think that the thoughts are coming from a lying or blasphemous spirit and being injected in to your mind to try and dislodge you from your faith in Christ - to give you a spirit of fear and condemnation.

This is the trick of the devil. He uses a lying demon to put the thoughts into your mind, then gives you further lies to make you feel fearful and condemned for having those thoughts.

Once you realise that this is what is happening, then you can take hold of God's Word and use it to kick that lying spirit into touch and renounce the spirit of fear and condemnation. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind".

You're being attacked by Satan. Keep resisting the devil and he will flee from you. Unless you call the Holy Spirit Satan on purpose, you have not blasphemed the Holy Spirit. I once fought the same Satanic thoughts for over 4 hours. Satan can speak into the minds of Born Again child of God if they are not wearing the Helmet of the Hope of Salvation. To put on your spiritual Helmet of the Hope of Salvation, you need to meditate on Jesus Christ in Heaven. Put on your helmet by meditating on this:

Many people hear blasphemes against the Holy Spirit via the mind. They call it OCD Scrupulosity.
I'm not quite sure why it's happening to so many people.

Still reading Psalms 18 atleast 3 times daily helps strengthen the mind and body.
You must pray a lot and it will help.

People also talk about it on youtube so your not alone.
