...... see the Lunar Eclipse last night? (Sunday 1 August 2004)

I was driving about 10.30pm when I noticed that the moon was a crimson red. Thankfully it wasn't my dirty windscreen as my cousin also witnessed it but I was wondering whether anyone else saw it?

I work with the West Midlands Police and we were out and about all last night but saw nothing

That's weird then, because I can't also find any info of it on the web.

The moon does become an orangey-red colour when it's rising and setting. It was probably this that you saw as I have not heard of a recent lunar eclipse either.
