Dermot Mulroney and Dylan McDermott

Am I the only one who can't keep these guys straight? I'm about ready to give up. No more sleepless nights. They have similar names. They both look kind of the same. They are about the same age. They always play the same kind of supporting roles so they aren't hugely famous, yet you have seen them in something.

Anyway, here are their photographs. Don't ask which is which because I've already forgotten.

i've only heard of mcdermott. i'm guessing he's the guy in the first picture.

Your guess is as good as mine. I like the first guy because he was in Home For the Holidays. And the second guy was in How To Make An American Quilt. Two of my favorite films.

Actually...I don't really like American Quilt for all the "chick" stuff about it. What I liked, rather, was the way it was kind of a commentary on the way that society tends to...who am I kidding, I like some chick flicks.

Dermot Mulroney is the second guy. I like him okay...don't know too much about the other guy.

I used to think there was only one actor with a name like that. For years. Every time I heard either name I thought that was the only one.

Dylan Mcdermott is the only name i recognize, though Dermot Mulroney looks familiar.
