I don't frequent that site, do you have an answer? Why the Electoral College is vital, not outdated
Abolishing the Electoral College was once an outrageous suggestion. But with 15 states and counting supporting an interstate agreement to grant theirwww.washingtonexaminer.com

ENCOURAGES BROAD COALITION BUILDING AND MODERATION.
The Electoral College prevents presidential candidates from winning an election by focusing solely on high-population urban centers and dense media markets, forcing them to seek the support of a larger cross-section of the American electorate. This addresses the Founders’ fears of a “tyranny of the majority,” which has the potential to marginalize sizeable portions of the population, particularly in rural and more remote areas of the country.
Large cities like New York City and Los Angeles should not get to unilaterally dictate policies that affect more rural states, like North Dakota and Indiana, which have very different needs. These states may be smaller, but their values still matter—they should have a say in who becomes President. By forcing presidential candidates to address all Americans during their campaigns, not just those in large cities, the Electoral College has the added benefit of eschewing radical candidates for more moderate ones.
No, then, no answer of your own?The Benefits

You didn’t even read what it said."Heritage" wants minority rule.

So do u think presidents should just campaign and focus on the to 20 or do cities in the country?I am familiar with the arguments for the EC. Heritage is not a org who's opinion I put any weight to.
I think every vote should have equal value for our one nation wide office. So do u think presidents should just campaign and focus on the to 20 or do cities in the country?
Do you think they should just campaign and focus on 5 states? So do u think presidents should just campaign and focus on the to 20 or do cities in the country?
They focus on every state.Do you think they should just campaign and focus on 5 states?
LOLThey focus on every state.
You live in Tennessee. Do you honestly think there will be an campaigning in TN? What about local ads on TV?They focus on every state.

A perfect example of the Conservative ideal that the 1% should rule the other 99%. "We The People" means the masses because they are "the people." What you seem to be supporting here is right in line with the feudal system. In that system, the people with the most money pay the least amount in taxes and control the destiny of the other 99% of the PEOPLE. Who should we make the hereditary King of the United States? I believe Donald Trump has enough heirs to build a stable monarchy.Of course, because it supports the masses, who flood our crime ridden cities.
Here is a diagram showing both campaign visits and TV ad buys. As you can see, both of them are focused on a small handful of swing states. For the most part states that were firmly on one side of the other were ignored, regardless of population. They focus on every state.
It allows a minority of voters in a few swing states to decide the election. Maybe you can explain how that's an improvement? It was the majority of the electoral college. The electoral college is better. It doesn’t allow mega cities in small geographical areas to rule over the nation.
And yet Republican administrations commit more crime than Democrat administrations. The last Republican administration was full of criminals, including the president. Who wants them running our country? The blue places are where most crime is, because the people who commit the most crime vote blue more often, and who wants them running our country?
Because the swing states consist of both urban, suburban, and rural populations. It allows a minority of voters in a few swing states to decide the election. Maybe you can explain how that's an improvement?
