Of course, there are Democratic states that are highly gerrymandered, such as Illinois.

But I just find it interesting that this could have been a blue tide to counter the red tide of 2010.

Gerrymandering is more often along racial lines I thought.

That's how Wisconsin state assembly and senate is GOP controlled, while statewide voted for Obama and Tammy Baldwin.

Never happy and never at fault. I suppose that explains the pick up of Governers too.

IMO, there should be a federal law requiring that districts be contiguous. Many districts are disjointed so as to nullify the voting power of a group. If districts are contiguous the voice of the people within that area would be heard.
