Demons In The Night

Recently when I was praying to God at night before I went to sleep, I don't know why I have that feeling of uneasiness and fear hanging around me and I just couldn't concentrate properly. Then, I suspected demons were around me, so I called out, "In the name of Jesus Christ, I command any unclean spirit to get out of my house!". I went back to pray and immediately I could feel a sense of lightness and peace. Does anyone have a similar experience? This kind of freaks me out sometimes.

Yes. That is a Spiritual LAW. Just as ther are Physical laws that govern the universe.

"I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me." Romans 7:21.

Some say this verse applies only to the state of the carnal Christian before salvation. I can se that application. But I believe it means also just what it says.

How many times do we start out to do good just to have it all blow up in our face? Well surely satan does not want us to do good and demons work overtime to thwart our effotrs and if we lose our focus and allow them they will.

I have found satan will sometimes try an attack just as you are about to drift off to sleep or just as you a wake in the mornings. I have found reading the bible, praying a covering over our minds, and listening to praise music stops these attacks.
I think we need to remind ourselves to not only put our bodies to bed but most importantly to allow our minds to rest in a state of total forgiveness and resting in the peace of Gods word and his promises.
Also I think we need to not only get our bodies out of bed. But most importantly don't forget to wake up the spiritual man first thing in the morning is more important than getting out of bed. Waking up to the fact that you are in a war once you are being shot at isn't a good start to the day.
