I like some of there stuff. it is hard to get a grasp on what there talking about sometimes though.

i really like demon hunter, one of the few hardcore bands that i can actually stand listening to. i want to go see their concert, they will be with dead poetic which is another really good band, so it should be a lot of fun. i think tickets are only like 5 dollars, so go.

they rock, and it is hard to figure out what they are saying, but God gave me a gift to figure stuff out sometimes.

Like "Not Ready To Die" is saying that God still has plans for me mand that i am not ready to go, cause i still have work to so for him

i dont really like nu-metal, but they arent that bad. Their songs are cool, and the 28 page booklet thingy in Summer Of Darkness is kinda cool. I think the cover and
stuff has something to do with Satan's funeral. I could be wrong though

Yeah, I really like how they talk about messing up and failing alot, but persevering nonetheless ...and not giving up just becuz they've falling again. I think it's really encouraging to have music that doesn't mind saying Christian mess up too, but that's no reason to give up hope there. It's exactly what 2Peter 1 :5-8 says:

"make every effort to add to your faith, goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ"

It has nothing to do with being perfect or happy all the time [like some music might imply] it's just about pressing on and learning as u go. ...and all that good stuff

I think that's the essence of a lot of hardcore & metal types of Christian music. They talk alot about being failures or struggling, but they don't use it in a bad "oh we'll never get anywhere" kind of way. They use it as a, "yeah we fall alot and on our own we're complete failures, but that's why it's so cool that we have Christ ...and that's why God's love & grace is so amazing! Let's never forget that nor take it forgranted." That's the beauty of a lot of the hXc JcHc scene.
