CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think it's referring to 1:49-1:55; but you're right that's not otherworldly.

My suggestion for this, and any future thing you run into, is to try to eliminate any natural causes for it happening before jumping to supernatural. I listened to it and didn't hear anything that would suggest demon growling or even growling at all. Technology picks up all kinds of things that we don't. There's a reason sound engineers have a job.

Yes it is indistinct. Yes at the end the voice may have said alleluia. Yes at the beginning, the voice was clearer sounding. Yes the voice at the beginning sounded very human like.
Are there days between these sessions? Is there an old man near, but not in the picture? Why did the evangelists voice sound like the old man' when the evangelist was close to the camera?

To me it sounds very convenient and staged.
The woman played the piano for him, so it could very easily have been arranged in advance; especially when the passage he reads afterwards is conveniently relevant to the event. His demeanor sounds way too calm and he even seems to brag that he has everyone's attention.

I didn't hear anything but an old woman groaning, yes she probably does have an evil spirit about her. I got that sense. I think the spirit was groaning through the old woman, I heard this happen in church before but the woman got really load and the preacher said to her you want to get a hold on that thing.
I don't know what the rules are for this section so forgive me if i am breaking any, but There are sins which are not forgiven by Jesus either in this world or the next. Jesus spoke to the pharisees about these sins which they did which would not be forgiven. Also you can not pronounce a person saved because they say the believe Jesus is The Son of God demons believe the same thing but are not saved. A person has to surrender them self to God and accept Him and the free gift of salvation. It takes a willful act. I suspect this is why the thing did not get louder. I.E there were mistakes made.

After reading this thread I got a question, why do you marvel at demons groaning? You can speak the name Jesus saved or not saved and they will groan. Jesus told His disciples not to marvel that demons obeyed them, but rather rejoice that there names where written in the book of life. In other words keep you focus on God.

I'm groaning too.
Back in the 70s when I was a child I had a walkie-talkie, and I could hear strange sounds on the frequency that sounded like "Martians". The movie Signs played on that creepy effect.
But it was really just static. It was like seeing faces in cracked paint. It is easy to misinterpret the cause of something when one can't readily identify its cause.
