"Nearly three out of four of those polled who are following the story said they think it’s important prosecutors investigate Clinton for her role in the Russiagate scandal along with her top campaign advisers.

That includes two-thirds — or 66 percent — of the Democrats polled who said they have been keeping up with the case.
Durham has already charged Clinton campaign subcontractor Igor Danchenko for allegedly lying about the sourcing behind the debunked so-called Steele dossier he helped compile, which attempted to frame Trump as a Kremlin agent.

Danchenko, a former Brookings Institution analyst, completely fabricated the source for the dossier’s most explosive allegations, according to the indictment. It turns out he also allegedly used a Clinton campaign adviser as another key source for other dirt he gathered. Danchenko was arrested in October and has pleaded not guilty.

Michael Sussmann, the former law partner of Clinton campaign general counsel Mark Elias, was indicted in September for allegedly lying about his work for the Clinton campaign on a scheme linking Trump to a Russian bank. Sussmann has pleaded not guilty.

As part of the probe involving Sussmann, Durham said in a legal filing Friday that he discovered Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign paid a Web firm to “infiltrate’’ servers at Trump Towers and the White House to try to tie Trump to Russia."

Tabloid fare ... most Democrats hardly give a thought to Hillary Clinton.

P.S. Tried to find the claimed poll ... and found nothing ...

This is all very sad! If God's word says that righteousness exalts a nation, it's not hard to conclude that behaviour like this is likely to do the opposite. Unfortunately, when this sort of thing becomes the norm, will politics ever get back to being honest and honourable, or will the downward trend continue. I don't live in the USA and don't have any axe to grind, one way, or the other. Both parties have in the past produced honourable and good presidents, but dishonourable behavior is destroying much that was once good. Added to that the country seems more devided than ever, this being a country whch used to be united for the common good. The USA used to stand for so much that was right and good.

Hi @disciple Clint

I believe that everyone who thinks that Mrs. Clinton should be investigated for any matter, should continue to think that. I'm not sure what it would accomplish in the political world to, now five years after the fact, hold such an investigation, but I allow that those who think she should be are allowed to think that.

God bless,
Ted

Here's the thing, if people have done som thing wrong they should pay the price for it. Politics aside. Yeah who cares 5 years later it's over by political standards.

But we are not talking political standards. Secondly it's important because it proves what we have been saying all along. There was no collusionor cooberation with Trump and the Russians. And Clinton was actually lying and trying to sabotage the campaign by using Russian agents. She also was spying on Trump by gaining or attempting to gain access to his servers. Which is illegal as well.

We were right all along. And this investigation needs to continue to root out as many of the guilty parties as possible.

If laws were broken and the very much looks like Mr Durham is ready to provide evidence that they were it is significant even 5 years later.

It will be interesting to see who gets indicted first ... Mr. Trump, ... or Mrs. Clinton ...

I think that the evidence will need to be capable of adequate verification to bring a charge which will stand up in a court of law. What happens if Hilary denies it all, as she may do so. It might still be very hard to adequately prove these claims. This might still be more of the usual mud slinging afer all.

Except we are getting indictments now. I don't actually expect Cinton to be indicted. The powerful never are. They know how to insulate themselves. Plausible deniability. Same goes for Trump.

Hi @rjs330

Remind me again who has been indicted? As far as I'm aware, the only indictment has been Sussman himself, and that was waaaay back in September of last year. Nothing new here. And of course, an indictment doesn't mean guilt. Trump was indicted twice! The indictment generally comes before charges. An indictment is where the AG's (federal) lawyers take an alleged charge before a grand jury and ask if there is enough evidence to warrant a charge. It typically means that there was no defense offered as it is strictly between the AG's office and the grand jury.

I've sat on grand juries before and they generally just decide whether or not there 'may' be a preponderance of evidence to justify charges. However, I'm not satisfied that recently anything has changed to warrant your comment.

God bless,
Ted

Yes!!!! That's exactly right. Now, the issue is: who is being fooled? So, let's keep watching and find out.

So you know who has been indicted and who has pled not guilty. A trial is coming. There's more news on this scandal. And we will have to wait and see what happens as this goes further.

But I stick to my guns here. Clinton won't be touched. She's powerful. She knows how to insulate herself. She has a boatload if political clout and support. Nothing will happen to her and nothing will stick. It's the way of the powerful these days.

But I'm interested in seeing the full outcome. May in the end she will be tarnished and lose her ability to throw her power around.

And that's where you and I part company. You see, I don't see Mrs. Clinton as being a person who is trying to run some great scam upon the people of the country. Did she make some poor judgment choices in her use of a private email server. Probably. But we're all subject to making bad decisions from time to time. Does she have a boatload of political clout. Yes, but then who's the last person you know of to put their hat in the ring to run for President of the United States who didn't? It's actually been the way of 'political' power for generations. The Bush family created a dynasty of presidents and politicians. You think they didn't have a boatload of political clout and support?

I believe that Mrs. Clinton is a decent enough person. She's rich so she doesn't live like me, but that's true of just about everyone who represents any of us in Washington. I believe that Mrs. Clinton is being treated unfairly in what people are accusing her of doing, but I understand that it's just the way politics is played. The problem these days, is that normally such activities come up and big deals are made of them and then after whatever political choices have been made by election, they pretty quickly and quietly fade away. However, Donald J. Trump has never been the kind of person to allow hateful and vituperative talk just quickly and quietly fade away. He lives, yes I mean it is the very air he breathes, to keep hounding and haranguing those that he feels are against him. He has always been that way. Spending gazillions of hours and dollars chasing such people to the poor house with his legal techniques. It's just who Donald J. Trump is. He learned many, many years ago that you can tie people up in knots in legal maneuverings that has the potential to destroy them financially.

You can look it up. Donald J. Trump is the one of the most litigious men presently living in the U.S. Although there is some argument that Jonathan Rich may have him beat, but it's questionable.

God bless,
Ted

Off course when pollster call Democrat and ask “Do you want Hilary Clinton should be investigated” the answer Democrat gives is “ yes” . Because Democrat and most of us really don’t think about Clinton , as a matter of fact we want them gone all together. They are the past and has ZERO impact in future politics.

Only people are fascinated with Clinton are republican. Every other sentence is “ But ..but .. Clinton did that, Clinton and Bengasi”

Outside conservative media and republicans, no one give a hoot if you lock Clinton up and throw away the key.

Hi @disciple Clint

Well, there's that little statement inclusion saying "very much looks like Mr. Durham is ready to provide evidence". So, am I to take from that he hasn't provided the evidence yet? And that what is being done here is that people are showing great hate and anger over someone who has, as yet, not been charged for any crime for which there is any evidence available to prove such charges. Is that about the gist of what's going on here? What ever happened to innocent until 'proven' guilty? So far, as far as I am aware, there are no charges outstanding against Mrs. Clinton for anything. That would be 'nothing', right?

I'm willing to wait and see. But as I've always said, as a person, I have much greater respect for Hilary Clinton than I do for Donald Trump. There's a man who for the last year has every single day opened his mouth spewing lies all over the place. There was no fraud, as yet proven, affecting the outcome of the last election. Just a few more people that didn't want him to be president again than wanted him to be. There is no proven medical science that wind turbines cause cancer in anything that they do. The budget was never balanced under his administration despite his proclaiming that he would do it. He obviously did find plenty of time to play golf despite his claim that he would be too busy to play golf if he were elected.

Lies? You really want to make this a tally of lies between Mrs. Clinton and Donald Trump?

God bless,
Ted

The question is not who do you like or who do you not like, the question is what laws were broken and by who.
