• CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I don't know if I can ask here for prayer. My husband is autistic and on marijuana and he doesn't believe. It wasn't God's will for us to marry, but since I'm married, I can't divorce.
So if someone believes in praying for deliverance of drugs and autism, do me a favor and pray for it. I'm not going to fight devils he lets in willingly. Every time I try to, all hell breaks loose. Or if you know a website where I can ask for prayer, please let me know. I had a dream about a demon with his posture and two days later a dream of him in white and he was saved. I don't hate him, I'm just sick of it and I do hate that demon.

True conviction only comes when there is a comparison between the sinner and the glory of God, his holiness etc. As well as praying for your husband but I would suggest you endeavour to go up in your relationship with the Lord.

As you spend time beholding the Lord and developing your personal relationship with Him, you will carry a greater measure of His presence and glory in your life, that will then bring true conviction into the life of your husband.

I would also add that demons are greatly disturbed by the the holiness of God so if you want to give the devil a bad time be a carrier of God's presence and the demon in your husband won't want to hang around.

Yeah, well, I prayed for him and binded those demons and told them to leave him and I'm soaking and pursuing for His presence now, darkness and light clash, he wanted to divorce now and has another room for himself, leaves in 2 days. I had a dream he was converted, so I'll just keep praying.

Don't be discouraged. Where one person can put a thousand demons to flight (scripture tells us) two people can put 10,000 to flight. You are not alone in your fight with the enemy. We are praying with you that God will deliver your husband from this bondage and set him free, in Jesus' name. Spend time in reading God's Word and in worshiping Jesus. It will build you up in your spirit and give you strength to fight the Good Fight of Faith.

I have a very close friend who is going through something similar. She left him over the summer (2012), 40 years married. Not divorced, but arguing and tearing each other down. She is bitter and unforgiving, and does not know how to live life without bitterness as her motivation. And so she retains it. Her health fails now due in large part (we believe) to her spiritual state.
I have known them both for 5 years, both are precious people.
-->His faith is growing, he is healing up, forgiving, loving. He is a lot like a plant which is finally receiving water and sunlight. He grows stronger all the time, and that is awesome to watch. He has not let his circumstances stop him from growing . . . .!
Blessings, richly,
WC

Not only is God able to deliver your husband, he is WILLING. He doesnt even have to be a believer for his healing. Many examples of Jesus healing involved most if not ALL who came to him got healed of many kinds of diseases. Now, how many of these people do you think were born again believers? Jesus is still the same.

Someone mentioned prayer and fasting earlier. This is a good idea, but it isn't to impress God to get your prayer answered...it is for you to crucify your flesh so your spirit can work how it is naturally supposed to work, in BELIEF. That is all God requires, that you BELIEVE him. I've seen strong deliverances from a variety of problems, and none are too big for Jesus.

Stay firm and persistent in prayer, and you WILL have what you pray since it isn't His will for your husband to be left in this condition. Think of what Jesus did while on earth with healing and setting the captives free...He is the same then, today, and FOREVER.

I and many others who read this will be joining in agreement with you in prayer concerning this

Why can't you divorce?

Interesting, last dream I had was about a human rights issue. Some person wrongly persecuted and I was trying to work with international human rights groups, protesting, working on it myself, ect to get them out.

Dreams really don't mean anything. I've had dreams that I can fly and instantly heal people, bullets fly off me, and there being green aliens, going underground in tube-car machines, seeing places I've never seen before, becoming other people and taking their perspectives (for real), making movies, jumping over canyons ect... does that make it real?

No ! I think they can, though, reflect what people may be THINKING about though, or what they saw that particular day or hour before they went to sleep (like on TV, e.g.)... often dreams are more action-packed after watching TV beforehand.

Sound like from the post after this that it is already over. Hope everything works out for you and as Jesus says, "Take courage! It is I. Do NOT be afraid"

There's no fear in JESUS, as He commands it, there is absolutely NOTHING to fear, but to feel comfort and joy in JESUS, who gives LIFE abundantly.

My fiancee has an interesting testimony. i may have shared this already. hes been an addict ( alcohol mostly) and we attended a spirit filled church. hes an infant in Jesus. well we were just at service and a black blob mass kinda thing came out of the right side of his torso. we were shocked! Our pastor asked him to share this w the congregation. lss, this evil cannot be in the presense of the Holy Spirit!!! Lets all keep each other in prayer!! " one who began a good work is faithful to complete it." Amen!

Peace be with you Messy. This sounds like something extremely difficult to deal with, and I'm so proud of you for staying true to God and for doing your best to help your husband. I know it's hard, but just keep going, and I will pray for your husband to mend his ways and to walk in His light. Amen.
