tattedsaint said:true, very true.
but in my opinion?
if one cannot or does not seek out too:
1. love their neighbor as themselves
2. love as Christ loved
they might as well deconvert, because faith without love is nothing.
this is the real big picture
plus you really think we should judge Christianity based on fallible human beings? well actually appropiately put:
do you think we should Christianity, a religion about an infinite being, based on finite being?
God Bless you! <><
strikerchris0411 said:The religion yes, the faith no
BrotherAtArms said:so you're saying that being a Christian is to be one who feels remorse at all times for what you have done?
BrotherAtArms said:just wanted to add, a heathen can also feel bad for what they have done,
ALIgator, good scripture^^
ALIgator said:1 John 4:7-7 "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."
BrotherAtArms said:Ok, a definition on love, I will use the greek word for the sake of it being ONE word.
Agape.
It means Unconditional Love.
Don't love because someone gave you something, did something for you, just love them.
There are other loves too, philo (brotherly) and arias (physical).
So Christian best described in one word is a greek word. Agape.
