It is wise to listen to what people say and ask the Lord to discern what He wants you to respond to...
Many people are growing and maturity on different levels...If you see someone struggling they may just be trying to break out of their cocoon...love and kindness is always the way. If
someone is hungry...don't just blow them off..you may not be able to give him all he/she needs but at least leave him/her with something to eat. Many times people who are venting is because they have been mistreated, or done wrong, and they feel misunderstood, and not validated. We all need to feel understood.
There are many who are called to minister and have a real spirit of compassion able to discern and allow the Holy Spirit to cut thru and bring a word of healing and hope to someone who is struggling, hurting, confused...whatever the situation. If you don't have it, it is best to not try to minister, cause all you will do is cause more hurt.
That is a danger on the internet and chat sites, there are alot of people who are excercising their gifts, and their at different maturity levels, and many who don't have a balance in their walks, or they are too fleshy trying to be spiritual, many different types.
But ministry is like a emergency ward, a big responsiblity, and accountablity. I hope that we all can be more loving, kinder and sensitive to those who come from different backgrounds and lifestyles, we are all different, but we are His children. Let us treat each other with respect, and care in our sharing and our ministry to one another.
