Some people were following the cult of personality then and some may do it now. But for most voters it is the issue of morals and political ideas.

God said to obey the laws of the land in the NT. I think we can all agree with that one. Criminal activity is not something we "circle the wagons around" in Christian churches.

Israel also had the policy of reverting ownership of the land back to the original owner every 70 years. We are not ripping-yanking that civil law into our own outside of the democratic system of voting for it and changing laws.

We allow legal immigration. 37 million legal immigrants in the U.S. And a million more people immigrate legally into the U.S. every year - . 8.5 million people live in Israel so we have about 4 times the number of legal immigrants in the U.S. as the entire population of Israel.

Christ commands us to obey the laws - there is no Bible text saying to let criminals in to a given nation no matter the law of the nation.

After the Charlottesville riots, which began when they decided to pull down a Confederate statute, Donald tried to bring the country together by saying there were good people on both sides of the issue (of pulling down Confederate statues). All the Democrats, and some Republicans called him a racist for saying that. Can you blame Donald for being angry?

A few days ago Donald referred to the MS-13 gang as animals. The mainstream press reported he had called ALL undocumented immigrants animals. The mainstream press twists everything it can twist to make Donald look bad.

But what is interesting is that they refer to the "spark of divinity" in each person which of course includes Hitler etc... but oddly enough that also includes all the unborn babies that same group on the left is willing to have aborted.

So now we have this "divine spark of life" confronted by two things.
1. The name "animal" if that spake of life is inside a gang-oriented-murderer
2. The abortionist's killing machine if that spark of life is inside the unborn.

The philistines and every other nation expelled by Israel would have "LOVED" to just "walk back in under open borders" -- and we all know it. Booting them out was the "opposite".

Israel does not support open borders.. neither does any other civilized nation - neither does the Bible demand it.

If your choice is to avoid criminal actions in the U.S. and instead push for public support "and votes" for congress to pass "open borders" law in the U.S. -- please feel free to try that out. My point here is not to say you do not have that choice. It is legal and it is within the limits set by the Bible pursue action (lobby congress, elect representatives that hold your view) - and that it is not crime so it is consistent with the Bible and the best way to achieve your preference on this issue.

Hint: God's Word says to obey the laws of the nation you live in.

I wonder who came up with that "spark of divinity' idea. It makes it sound like we are all God - and we aren't. Only God is God. God speaks to each of us. That doesn't make us God.
