I have uncovered a model of theology that perfectly encompasses everything and it is based on the atomic structure, our three rings of two and the three dimensional reality structure, which thereby compete over a fourth temporal ring. And now I will attempt to explain that in english.
1) The Forward-Backward ring: This paradigm is about always moving forward, not backsliding or looking back. The associated afterlife theology is the ressurection. The opposite of a believer in God is an Atheist. To which occupies the backend of this ring, the ultimate past, nonexistence. Since they cannot acknowledge God they become as though never created.
2) The Left-Right ring: This theology tends to think time is not real, there is only one eternal now that we continue to reincarnate into. They have been turned "sideways" spiritually. To them there is the yin and yang, the dark and light, but there seen as right and left.
3) The Up-Down ring: This dimensional ring is about moving either up or down in the world, and in the afterlife, which are fanciful heavens and dreadful hells. I give this one to the various spiritual hierarchies in the world and to the demons/aliens in space working with those under the earth. As nonexistence, death would be the ultimate down for an atheist, so they often wind up in this ring moving up in the world.
Summary of the rings: for the purposes of afterlife theology they are, death until resurrection, heaven/hell, nonexistence, and reincarnation. These are really the only afterlife theologies we have.
So my best guess is this - Once, when I was swordfighting I was moving backwards until I fell into a fountain and went unconscious. I awoke instanteously in the car with a massive headache. So maybe death will just be a brief unconsciousness, though a lot of time would have past until the ressurection of the just to reign with Christ, and then the ressurection of the wicked to be cast into an eternal place of torment. And since God's people generally fit the first ring best, I tend to think it is the most likely conclusion.
But theres more...
The forward-backward ring is actually the temporal ring and the two other rings... can form a full circle on their own. The true forward and backward are temporal, not directional, and directionally speaking those are the same as sideways. We started with the one that was real, but satan pulls us sideways, down, and backwards. God only pulls the right way.
Therefore I will say the following:
"Look not towards the stars of heaven, nor the idols of the earth. Neither look to the side to your brethren, but be filled with he who is Alpha and looking forward to he that also is Omega and the salvation that lies ahead."
"Worship not the material world of the senses nor anything in it. For the world was made for man, not man for the world. Quantum mechanics has sown us that reality does not exist unless it is observed, it is God's spirit breathed into life through which all reality is created just as all that we see is but light producing a picture within our own brains. Know that he is that within you is greater then he is that within the world."
