Death comes in threes

I've had several people I know pass away recently. I wasn't especially close to any of them but it's given me pause to think. Perhaps I'm at the age where death will become a more common thing, but it still comes as a shock. All of these people were around my age with similar aptitudes. It's really making me look inside realizing I could be next.

The 50's and 60's are a reality check for sure; hubby and I have realized that over the last decade!

All we have is the PRESENT MOMENT to cherish and live as if this day were our last.

We got our affairs in order for the ease of ourselves and our children for when our time comes, and count our blessings daily.

All is well ~ the Lord has us in His Loving Hands as we journey HOME.

This is for the most part unrelated but in wilderness survival they tend to go by the rule of 3. Death comes with most of the following, obviously isn't 100% accurate, i've heard of a really fat person not eat anything for a year. And i've heard of guys living beyond 3 days without water by drinkin their urine, granted some experts say never do that. I've also heard of people getting lost in the desert, calling for help and dieing before help got there within a few hours(due to dehydration) so never know.

3 minutes without air
3 hours without shelter
3 days without water
3 weeks without food
3 months without hope


Also tadoflamb according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_life_expectancy US is 75.6 for males. I watched a roman documentary yesterday and I think they said average life expectancy back then was 30's.

Yes, death does come in threes. Sometimes tripled - in 9's. [3x3]
So far Michelina died - my dog - my one bff's brother [and i knew him in HS], my Mom, [and a few Facebook friends lost loved ones] - mostly parents, and i know i may be forgetting someone in the line up - which BTW i did in order as they passed.

AND it causes you to stop and pause. Especially when you are unhealthy..ie - example an irregular heart beat, hypoglycemia, hyperthyroid, panic attacks, and symptoms of other possible problems unknown.

AND when you hear your cousins in the same age group are dropping over. Ok, they were a little older, but i am soon coming to the age they passed away at. Which wasnt that old actually.






Josh, Terri Schiavo lived a lengthy time without food or water before she succumbed to her death sentence. Your post reminded me of her. Such agony the poor thing went thru.

It's a kind of "optical illusion" of anything that is poisson distributed that it produces apparent clusters of three.
