Dear Lord, teach me what You want me to learn.
Please teach me, Lord, how Your will to discern.
Give me knowledge, Lord, of what I should pray.
Help me to live for You throughout each day.
Trials do come. They are testing my faith.
Give me understanding, help me today.
Be near to me, Lord, and comfort my heart.
May I not stray from You, never depart.
Life has its ups and downs, never the same.
Enemies come at me. I call Your Name.
You hold my future. It’s all in Your hand.
Now on Your Holy Word I take my stand.
The peace of my Lord now rules in my heart.
The joy of the Lord now each day to start.
The comfort of Christ there with me each day.
In time spent with Him I bow and I pray.
