I think I made a deal with the devil. I cannot remember the events exactly. There were a bunch of inner voices warning me of my actions and then they stopped. I think I have regected the Holy Spirit. I realize right now how childish I am. I am afraid that I made a deal for literally nothing or am receiving something on a promise that I don't realize (makes me feel a tiny bit excited). Can I turn to right living and change this?!

Any deal you feel that you may have made is not binding. Occultists for centuries have dabbled in the notion of "selling your soul" as being a final act of defiance against God but even that is purely symbolic. Only God has control over such things.

If you ask for forgiveness you will receive it.

If you work toward a new life and a second chance you will have it.

This is what the love of our Lord Jesus Christ has secured us.

Keep the faith and keep moving forward. I will be praying for you.

Why was the house blessed years ago? No spirit in the World can harm you unless you have done something to interact with their world. The last lady I dealt with used a spirit box to pass time :/ and that led to a spirit entering her body.

Even children are intrigued and ask how to make contact; it gets tiring warning people to stay away, as they are inviting nothing but trouble. I am excited because I am a drug addled fiend and the thought that I have procured some protection over my drug use without my conscious awareness of it is deliriously exciting. I am done. I hate myself. And I don't trust myself. Neither should you. Sometimes I think I'm just brain damaged and paranoid, like I already was. But they can't prove it. I forget why it all is sad. Maybe the Holy Spirit will show me? I wish I was sorry. I don't feel anymore. But now I do. Long answer.

That excitement is what attracts a lot of adolescent children and young people into the occult. They also seem the most susceptible to possessions and lingering issues.

This is why parents need to take the easy access to occultic information on the internet seriously. We go to great pains to protect our children from pornography online we need to do the same with Satanic propaganda.

It's all over youtube and usually just a click away from the usual stuff that has teens glued to their screens for hours. That's why I took my daughter along to a real exorcism, so she could see what happens when you mess with the unseen. My kids stay well clear, and that's how I want to keep it.

Sorry I missed that response. Ok so you need to get counselling and help for your drug issue. Get your family involved so they can help and support you. Do not look into matters of the unseen because together with drug abuse, you'll be sectioned off in no time, (meaning mental health hospital here in the UK). Try to attend Church regularly or in the very least be around good God fearing people.

Sorry I missed that response. Ok so you need to get counselling and help for your drug issue. Get your family involved so they can help and support you. Do not look into matters of the unseen because together with drug abuse, you'll be sectioned off in no time, (meaning mental health hospital here in the UK). Try to attend Church regularly or in the very least be around good God fearing people.

This is good advice. Any time you're trying to overcome issues of dependency the most important thing you can do is surround yourself with people who reflect the kind of life you want to lead.

Don't tempt yourself and remember 1 Peter 5:8-9. The rest will follow.

Question: how do we know people are being possessed and it's not a trick of the mind? After all people in ancient times likely thought diseases, mental illness and sleep paralysis were caused by demons/bad spirits too, not to mention instances where people think something's physically wrong and they feel symptoms like a reverse placebo effect even though nothing's physically wrong. If they actually are demons, why hasn't the scientific community cracked down on them to understand them and where they come from (after all if certain things stir them they should easily be able to be scientifically measured and detected)? Why haven't many regular people cracked down on them? Why isn't anyone ever educated about it like protecting yourself from diseases or physical assault or anything like that?

Most of the time it is mental illness. Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant Exorcists are all trained to recognize common psychological issues.

If they actually are demons, why hasn't the scientific community cracked down on them to understand them and where they come from (after all if certain things stir them they should easily be able to be scientifically measured)?

The scientific industry has a vested interest in disproving God's existence. Acknowledging demonic power is by proxy acknowledging God.

Why haven't many regular people cracked down on them? Why isn't anyone ever educated about it like protecting yourself from diseases or physical assault or anything like that?

Demonic possession is rare enough that regular people will never know it happens. The closer we get to the End the more common Exorcisms are becoming. Muslim-UK is correct in asserting that a lot of this has to do with the availability of occultic propaganda and in the way that people approach Satanism in general. It's packaged today as as a harmless expression of hedonism. It's quickly becoming more of a political statement than religious.
