Got a question about Duckduckgo, the search engine, security. Was on their home page going thru some of it's security options and they had a post about the site icon security settings; and how DDG sets the Layer certificates either SSL or DLS and how you can look to see if a site is secure by clicking on the site icon in the url box.
So did this when on DDG's home page and it was secure; as expected. So came over here to CF by a DDG search and it had the orange exclamation icon saying it was not verified or encrypted; also other sites I go to said the same thing.
As I was using Slimjet, I thought it would be operating the security; so looked at it's settings and it was on default. which is TLS 1.0, the recommended setting, not SSL 3.0.
So the questions come up; why would DDG have anything to do with the settings, why is CF not a secure or even verified site; and is this anything to worry about?
I looked with Chrome and CF was still not secure/verified; and is some much like slimjet that SJ has the same help files from Chrome. Thanks for any help/info on this.
