Ok every one... the first thing I'm going to say is that if you join this RPG you MUST not drop out. I have had several good RPGs end on me for the simple reason that my players, and the people i was playing with, stopped posting and left. So if you cant commit to this RPG DONT JOIN!!!!
I need 7 players max or 3 min to start the RPG. Once you have decided to join and give me the history (it doesn't have to be extensive, just long enough for me to get a feeling for your character) i will place you in one of two groups. Each group will travel down a different path and go different places but both will be important to the overall plot. Magic is allowed in this RPG but i do not want any magic that is so powerful that it allows you to god mod. ex- no raising people from the dead!!! Also the magic that you can use to begin with must be very limited as your characters all have magic abilities its just a matter of discovering them.
This RPG will take place in the time era of the middle ages. This is a fantasy RPG but i do not want any anthro characters in this RPG, the options that you do have open to you are- dwarf, elf, human. You will notice that i began the RPG with the words "chapter one", dont worry this isn't a book, I'm simply allowing for better referral once we get further in the RPG.
All players should begin by having their players reach the town of Elganear (a town of men). you dont have to spend to long on this and i would recommend having the reach it within your first post. My own character is sailing there now. If you want to create a complex background, personalty or other such thing for you character and do not want the other players seeing it just PM it to me and I'm sure it will be fine. The land is at war with the currant super power nation that has long since forced labor and heavy taxes on the people, the lands that now revolt have little hope of survival and unless God himself sends his warriors of the sky they will soon be destroyed and the nation of Jokim (darkness in elvish) will rule all with an iron fist and an unforgiving disposition.
Chapter one-
Scion looked about him undaunted, gigantic waves rolled over and slammed against the small boat sailing through the fierce storm. rain poured down over him, soaking everything but himself due to the thick and oiled cloak that hung down over his eyes. he was as far out on the boat as humanly possible and was standing, face to the wind and calloused hands gripping the shrouds around him for support... he was watching. slowly the demeanor of the man changed and his piercing hazel eyes were revealed as he looked up and into the rain, seeming to be looking for help from the sky. his long hair was wet despite the cloak and whipped around wildly as it was exposed to the prying fingers of the wind. Letting out a long and challenging laugh at the coal black sky Scion allowed the rain to pour down over his face and raised his hands to the sky... he was free and after months at sea he had finally spotted land.
