November 20,the Transgendered Day of Remembrance, is the day set aside every year to remember those who were killed, simply because someone did not like who they were. It is a day of prayer and sorrow.

I'm posting here, even though it is not a homosexual issue, because I suspect that if I posted it elsewhere it would only be moved here, since too many people consider GID to simply be a more degenerate form of homosexuality. Even people generally accepting of human rights for gays stop short of extending those rights to the transgendered, as evidenced by the gutting of ENDA before it passed.

Thanks for calling our attention to this, Ollie.

And while we haven't gotten everything with ENDA, it is a step in the right direction. Does it fail on the justice scales? You bet. But, as always in the US, some people are more equal than others until we take a stand. I stand in solidarity with my T brothers and sisters.

I think when we get a Democrat as president, we'll be able to pass ENDA with protections for transgender people included.
