An old art I made while on a ministry trip to Prague several years ago. Inspired by both the Charles Bridge landscape and the Tim Keller sermon on Culture I happened to be listening to during a day off. I strongly recommend everyone else to listen to that sermon as well if you have the time.

Isaiah 60:1-3 :
“Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you
and his glory appears over you.
Nations will come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your dawn."​

Love the drawing and the overall concept. I spent a week in Prague and loved it. It's a beautiful city. I remember them selling hand- made marionette puppets on those foot bridges. It seemed like it was a local industry. I still have a Merlin the Wizard marionette I lugged all the way home. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah. Prague is one of the most beautiful places I've been to. I regret not buying souvenirs when I was there those years ago. I didn't see anyone selling marionettes though. Most were either drawings/paintings, keychains, coasters and the like.
