Last school year I met a junior who over time became a close friend of mine. Sense we were hanging out a lot I started to develop feelings for her, and her for me. I need to know what to do. I am Christian, no denomination. She is.a Latter Day Saint, Mormon. I know that she likes me and I know that I like her. I have prayed a lot about the situation and it seems like God is telling me to ask her out, I want to make sure that it is scriptureally okay for us to date,.I really am starting to fall in love with her and I just don't know what to do . I was a freshman when we met. She will be a senior this year and me a sophmore. Any advice or scriptures would help. Thanks in advance.

I don't know what else to say but "go for it".There's nothing wrong with dating, just keep physical intimacy minimal. Don't let her take priority over your faith and you'll be fine.

I would advise you to find a good Christian girl. God is not telling you to act contrary to His Word.

This post is probably too late to be of any help, but I want to explain in case someone else in the OP's situation visits the thread.
CalledOutOne is referring to the fact that the Mormon "church" does not really believe Christian doctrine. They believe God is God, Jesus is another special God, Jesus is probably the son of God and some female god, and when people die they become Gods. It's pretty complex, but it is not Christianity!
I don't think there's anything wrong with hanging out with her and talking with her. But I would advise against having a relationship that is even slightly serious until you get the religion part figured out. I believe Mormons are not allowed to marry outside their church, and if you joined your children probably wouldn't be raised Christian.
