Well senses allow an organism to better aquire resources than those that don't have senses. Thus, those that evolved the ability to sense light or vibration are more likely to pass on their genes, eventually the ability to sense wins out over the inability to sense. Similarly, teeth evolved because they provide an better way to process resources and latter defend oneself. There is no mystery to why such things exist.
