Darwinian evolution - still a theory in crisis.

Also, when did you start abbreviating Bible verse names?

Good catch.

I have a software program that abbreviates them.

When I copy and paste from it, I'll type the whole name of the book in before I post it.

For instance, if I copy and paste "Mt 1:1," I'll change it to "Matthew 1:1" before I reply.

In this case, I was too lazy to do that.

There are academians today who consider the Jews as "ancient goat-herding desert nomads".
It's the creation stories of those ancient middle-eastern desert tribes that people still believe in that I have issues with. Not their goat-herding lives which was very common back than.

Do you have issues with the Muslim tribes as well?

It's the "creation stories" of any of those ancient middle-eastern desert tribes that I reject. Science has opened up a new creation story that more accurately reflects what we actually see going on in God's Creation.

Why don't you just say you believe science and let it go at that?

I'm sure most of you will throw rocks at this video and call the people in it all sorts of derogatory names (because they are challenging the status quo). But again this is here for those other people who want to know what the flaws are with the theory of evolution (and cannot get it from the Google search because Google search is in the same side as alot of these stone throwing scientists).

If nothing else, you're demonstrating that you've still not learnt anything from this thread and seem to be proud of it.

There are people today who think Jesus was an alien. They get laughed at. In the past they’d get slung in jail or killed for wrong think.

Being laughed at is the natural consequence of being an idiot.
Boy, are you condescending. I wouldn't think anyone an idiot for thinking that. There are many people who feel aliens did start the whole life here on Earth. The Sumerians laid out some very impressive cuneiform tablet stating those same thoughts.

It's weird because what exactly do they want? Those guys think origin of life researchers should do what? Shut down all their research just because those three guys think it's a waste of time?

Why do those guys think researchers care at all what they think? Talk about having an inflated sense of self-importance!

Pride has nothing to do with this, I can't believe you can even think something like that. If I see something that I don't agree with (theory of evolution) I'm going to point out what I can and use whatever evidence I have. Simple as that, no pride involved anywhere. I sometimes feel though most evolutionists are so connected to their theories that they do not want to see or hear anything contradicting them (that could show flaws in the theory, now that in my eyes is pride).

You're missing the point. Within the sciences young-earth creationism has about the same status as flat-earthism and the advocates for both are thought of in about the same terms, if at all.

Here comes the stone throwing . No room here for alternate theories.

Um, isn't that what the guys in the video are doing? Aren't they just throwing rocks at origins researchers while not offering anything positive as an alternative?

I'll ask again, what exactly do they want? And why do they think any origins researchers care what they think about their work?

But you are admitting it is a pride thing. You going "If I see something that I don't agree with (theory of evolution) I'm going to point out what I can and use whatever evidence I have." Ignoring the latter (which you have done nothing of sort, just making baseless claims with no real evidence behind it apart from wishful thinking on your part), your entire thing is that YOU don't agree with it. Not that science is wrong, not that it's a religious thing: just that YOU don't agree with it.
How is that not prideful?

If you want an alternate theory to be accepted, you need to present evidence for one. The theory of evolution has evidence, otherwise it wouldn't be a theory. Do you understand this very simple fact?

Because you all have been asking me to "prove it" my reason for why I believe what I believe when all along I just solidly didn't believe in the theory of evolution. Unfortunately, you couldn't accept that as an answer. The stuff that the Barbarian and Warden of the Storm passed onto me was informative but it really once again just showed me how flimsy the theory of evolution is. I thank them for their kindness and time that they took to show me their side.

Look, I'm a staunch practicing Catholic. If you ask me about why I believe in God, I'll tell you but you can take my response however you want (accept, believe, stay neutral or reject). I'm not going to push it on you. If God wants you to see, He'll help open your eyes.

Again, measurements and observations of the past. What about it is ridiculous or "unnecessary"?

That science is giving answers to questions that happened billions of years ago or millions of light years away - absolutely ridiculous. You could probably give good educated guesses but lets admit it, you weren't there to see it firsthand.
