Fiction is the new album from Dark Tranquillity, and i must say, DT's style has never let up, and never gets old. Terminus, The Mundane and the Magic, Empty Me, all amazing tracks from their latest work.

Can anyone deny that Dark Tranquility is the true purveyor of Melodic Death Metal?

Dark Tranquillity has put out some worthwhile CDs, that much is true. As far as your second point, I really can't comment one way or the other. I will say this though, Damage Done got my vote as top metal CD from 2002. I didn't know they were releasing a new CD this year, that makes my day

I actually dig it. I usually hate new-age metal, but Fiction is pretty sweet.
