I haven't read the book (and don't intend to) - but I did check out the link. Of the reviews I looked at - I particularly liked David Newetts - which does a great job of exposing the book for what it really is - heresy.

The first review for the book - which gave it five stars - says this: "Many of the books and people he quotes are edited (for space)and so the context can't be checked out. Some of the books he refers to are out of print and hard to come by." I found that very interesting - and telling since a major argument of Mr. Corner's is that the early church supposedly didn't believe in eternal security. Sources that can't be checked out as credible - are not sources at all in my opinion.

Still - I am happy to see books like this get published - because it brings to the forefront a major, major issue in regards to the faith. I believe that all other issues in theology pale in comparison. What you believe about security - is what you believe about works in regards to salvation.
