I am new here. The way i look at dancing is if your doing it for the Lord dance till your feet fall off. i used to take ballet tap and belly dance.And God wants us to dance. I don't think it says anywhere in the bible that he doesn't want us to dance. But i'm not 100% sure. He wants us to be happy and do what is right. But going to a dance club and dancing is a totally different concept because your mind isn't focossed on the Lord its focussed on the atmosphere... Unless your in a Christian Club. Just my opinion

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

my favorite would be in church, when we're having these crazy youth revival nights, and we got loud praise music, and everyone's just jumping dancing and shoutin out to the Lord without shame~!

Im a guy and i dont think dancing isnt bad either my mom forced me to take it about a year of social dancing i got over it. Now, my mom made the school do it and everone likes it too.

i love to dance too... and FINALLY the leadership and the people of my chuch has understood and admitted that dancing can be used as worship, and there is nothing wrong with dancing. oh no wait. that was not correct. it is wrong when you are dancing with the "wrong purposes" but dancing in general, i think it's great=) Why no use this FANTASTIC body he gave us=)?
