Daily Devotional Question

A new year is quickly approaching and I'm looking for a daily devotional book to take to work. I want one that will challenge me and help me develop a real relationship with God.

Any suggestions?

This may not be what you're looking for, but I really enjoy youversion on my telephone. I signed up with a lot of reading plans and they have different forms of devotionals.

Dear Misty Rock. Jesus gave us good advice in Matthew 22:35-40: " The first and great Commandment is: Love God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. The second is like it: love thy neighbour as thyself." In verse 40 we are told: On these two Commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets. ( neighbour is all we know, and all we meet, friends and not friends) In Matthew 7: 7-10: we are told: " Ask and you shall receive." Here we ask God for Love and Joy, then thank God and share all love and joy with our neighbour. God will see our loving efforts, and God will Bless us. We keep doing that and showing God how happy we are in Loving God and our neighbour.
The Bible tells us: " Repent and be Born Again." We change from being selfish and unloving to loving and caring.
The Holy spirit will help and guide us, and Jesus our Saviour will lead us all the way: JESUS IS THE WAY.
We might stumble and forget at times, but then we ask God to forgive us, and carry on loving and caring and being friendly always.
Love is very catching, and a Christian`s weapon is love and compassion, and we are showing our Devotion to God and to our neighbour daily. I say this with love, Misty Rock. Greetings from Emmy, your sister in Christ.
