Da Vinci Code Book/Movie

Loved the book. I ran right out and bought the other 3 Dan Brown books. I just saw the movie. Major suckage. With Ron Howard and Tom Hanks, I thought it would just have to be good. Oh man, was I ever disappointed.

I liked them both, although the movie wasn't my favorite.

Movie was good. Didn't bother reading the book. My pastor was discussing it and pretty much said that beyond the story part, Dan Brown is a horrible writer with the writing skills of a 6th grader.

None of the choices fit. I thought the book was ok, drug a little in the middle, made me want to skip over and get to the end. I liked the movie somewhat better, didn't think it was that great. And I HATE tha people are taking both so seriously that they question their faith over them. Whay take spiritual advice from Dan Brown? People are gullible.

I liked them both but thought that neither was spectacular. The book was better, but then the book always is. The movie got lost after Ian McKellen died, but it was still a well spent evening.

I thought the book was pretty good, from a purely entertainment point of view. The movie was okay--not bad, but not great, either.

I got lucky, because I read the book 2 years before I saw the movie, so when the movie came out, I actually didn't even remember the ending, so I wasn't constantly comparing it to the book or anything. I thought the movie was good. Not great, but good. Mostly I think the editing could have been better.

I thought the movie was ok, but kind of silly, I tried to read the book twice, but became bored with it both times and could not finish it.

I guess the basic idea behind story is so far from reality that I could not suspend my disbeleif and enjoy either as a mindless action mystery story.

Never bothered reading the book (well, attempted is more the word for it, I got a little bit into it, and shut it for good, not my cup of tea). But saw the movie anyway- half bored me to death.

I've read the book and quite liked it, not as good as Angels and Demons (everyone says that don't they?) I haven't seen the film, I'm waiting for it to come out on Sky Movies.

The whole "solve the puzzle" thing seems quite stupid to me. If everyone in the secret organization knows the location then why have a series of puzzles to solve to find its location.
