I've been thinking a lot what's wrong with these western type of "flock herders", but I think I've finally hit the nail on this one.
They tell you to "come and recieve Jesus", but they do not talk about the cost of discipleship. Nor do they know who the Father is, nor His Name, nor His Will.
Which is why they will ultimately rub shoulders with the false messiah.

Or what king, going out to encounter another king in war, will not sit down first and deliberate whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand?
