  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I honestly can't remember. As a guy it's something I avoid like the plague.

I can get teary-eyed over a beautiful piece of music or something like that but full-blown bawling is something I haven't done since I was child. I'd feel like I'm less of a man if I did that. Plus, I'm not a physically emotional person so things like that don't come easily or naturally to me.

So when no one was around, in bed, in the late hours of the night, you never cried silently to yourself about something that bothered you?

Can't say that I have. I wouldn't feel right doing it, even though I've been tempted at times.

At Ellerslie, I remember in a conversation, Eric said something about how he's not moved to tears by emotions, but by the Spirit of God...I heard that, and it became my prayer...because I mean I was always one of those cry-at-everything kind of people...honestly, I would cry at Aladdin :sorry: Completely driven by just emotions in that way.

God is definitely answering that prayer though. Now, if I cry because of a movie, it's because God really moved in my heart through it...I really do still cry a lot though, it seems. But each time now, is because God is doing something overwhelming in my heart and soul.

The thing I most recently cried about was His holiness.

Sure I cry sometimes, but I can't remember what my last cry was over or when it was. I'm not ashamed to feel the emotion... it's part of life so why censor it?
I think people feel they can't express emotions because it's wrong somehow.

In front of my friends and even family I try and hide what I'm feeling. My emotions bubble up when I'm alone.

Last time I cried was about 2 weeks ago. I cried because I felt alone and wanted things to be different. I use to fight the tears for a long time. I've finally decided that I wasn't hurting anyone if I needed to let it out when no one is looking or could hear me.

I'm a cry baby. I'm not afraid to admit it. A lot of people have called me soft hearted because of this. I get misty eyed just seeing someone performing a small act of kindness. I guess I've seen so much crap and seen people spewing venom at one another over the dumbest of things that its refreshing to see people doing something nice for each other without an agenda behind their actions.

Its not that I am pathetic for crying. Its just how I relieve the stress, or joy, or relief. Don't freak out if my eyes start watering. Its normal.

How often would you say that you cry? What have you most recently cried about?

I don't cry too much anymore (I don't have TIME! lol). When I do, it almost-always has to do with my son. Last time I cried was actually recently though because I had to spend some time away from him - 24 hours and 17 minutes actually.

I'm a girl. I'm emotional. So, I cry often. Sometimes for no reason at all. ^_^

The last time I cried was today actually because of many things that I won't mention on here.

Ditto. Worse around my "womanly time" if you feel me. lol Just being honest here folks.

I find it difficult to be around someone who is crying and not start myself. I suppose it's a girl thing.

The last time for me was last weekend. Had an awful week and then everything went wrong all at once. You know how that goes? Just couldn't keep it together any longer lol.
