Ezekiel 43:2
"and behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the way of the east And His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with His glory."
Jeremiah 51:55
"For the LORD is going to destroy Babylon, And He will make her loud noise vanish from her. And their waves will roar like many waters; The tumult of their voices sounds forth."
We know that He spoke and His Voice reverberated upon the chaotic waters and there was light:
"And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light."
(Genesis 1:2-3)
And there was order and He continued to speak and to declare and to assess His creation; and He confirmed that it is good. And on the sixth day of His sweeping Crescendo He uttered the head of creation that is mankind and He blessed and established His creation as being "very good" (Genesis 1:1-31)...and then He rested (Genesis 2:1-2).
We know that, somewhere in this story, a sharp noise was struck. The harmonious symphony of creation suffered a discordant move; a move back to disorder, chaos, and confusion.
I would like to discuss this cacophony of grandiosity that an enemy would dare to introduce into the grand and immutable theater of life. I would like to continue to discuss it using musical terminology, because I feel that it is very useful for providing deeper insight.
Thank you.
