And you can falsify it by claiming that for christianity to be true Genesis has to be literal.

I think that if you let the Holy Spirit guide you, you will always interpret the bible right. In some cases, if you actually look at the Hebrew, you can clearly see that it can only mean one thing.

Trev, there is a difference between Creation and Creationism.

Creation is a theological statement that God created. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth". That's Creation.

Creationism is a particular how God created. It is a man-made scientific theory with several sources: Plato and Aristotle and their idea of unchanging species and eternal forms; a literal reading of Genesis 1-8, and the work of naturalists in the 1700s.

However, evolution is also a how God created!

So, when you say "Creation is truth" and you mean "God created by evolution" then you are stating truth. But if you mean creationism when you say "creation", then creationism is not the truth. God didn't create that way.

Hear me out on this, ok recently evelutionists have found faults in evelution. They have come to prove that it is wrong. They thought that they were right, well soon they finally found that they were wrong. Evelutionists have found proof that creationism is right. That we as people were created by some higher power. THey acually had to change the definition of evolution. It used to be the change over time from species, but now it is the change of one species every day. Which is going on every day, us grwing taller. So that is not evelution.

Also why are we going to Mars? Well the main reason why is ecause they can't find how life was created here on earth so they the want to see if the can find any thing there. They'll be looking for anything that they can use and twist into what they want.
So it's cool that evolution is slowly but surely being prooved wrong!!

That is true. No one has ever claimed the theory of evolution had no faults in it.

That is not true. If someone told you that, either they were mis-informed or they were lying to you. I am charitable enough to believe they were mis-informed.

Very often scientists have lively debates about the details of evolution and how important different parts of the process are. For example, are mutations more important than natural selection or vice versa?

Very often, non-scientists listening in on these arguments get the impression that they are debating whether or not evolution happens. That is not the case. They are debating how evolution happens and when evolution happens and why evolution happens. But they are in agreement that evolution does happen. On that point they have no reason to believe they are wrong.

This is not possible. Scientists have no tools for studying God. Science cannot show that we were created and it cannot show that we were not created. What science has shown is that if we were created, then the method God used to create us is evolution.

Evolution is not a rejection of creation. It only rejects creationism.

Where did you hear this? I think scientists would be surprised to hear the second definition. I think some one has given you erroneous information on this point.

You are right. Growing taller is not evolution. Individuals do not evolve. Species evolve. Growing taller would only be evolution if the average height of the species increased from one generation to the next. One person or one tree growing taller is not evolution.

We don't know yet that we cannot find how life came to be on earth. The research on that question will take some years yet to come to a conclusion. But we certainly want to find if life exists or ever did exist any place other than earth.

Part of being an insect is having six legs. Those two legs could be highly modified, but having six legs is just one of those characteristics you can't get without. Sort of like mammals and fur.

Can you show me where this is, please? As I read the scientific journals that come out, every week in Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, Science, Nature and the rest, there are scientific papers supporting evolution.

Over 25 years before Darwin published Origin of the Species, creationists had already shown that creationism was wrong. The evidence that did that still exists. It hasn't gone away. The latest incarnation of creationism -- Intelligent Design -- accepts evolution. What they try to show is that God created, not that evolution is wrong.

We have found several ways how life could be created here. The Mars mission is NOT to find out how life was created, but to see if life arose somewhere else in the solar system.
